Official Fall PractiSe #4: Tuesday August 9

“So you came from _____, how’s it like in Miami? What’s different? Is this place better?”

”Jason Taylor, huh? Can you talk about him for a second?”

”Tell us about [highly ranked freshman in your position group], how’s he look? What do you tell a guy like that [who’s coming for your job]?”

”Whats the difference between practice this year vs last year? Ok, how about between spring and now? Great, hey how about from practice 1 to practice 2, ok, and from 2 to 3? What are your hopes for #4?”

”Gotta be cool to have Ed Reed on the sidelines? What’s that like?”

”Is practice fast?”
Straight from the Andy Rooney school of journalism...

Can’t wait til Citizen is 1st of the depth chart, Gator fans starting yapping that they were right, Mario promised him the starting job only for them to realize real quick they should have done the same…
Yeah, I never got that flex. They have NOBODY at running back. They should have promised him whatever he wanted

Obviously, there’s methods to Coach Mirabal’s madness. Moving guys around to find where they fit best but also, each player learns something about the other positions so they know and understand what and where the guy next them will be.

Ain't no way Mario offered him anything more than an opportunity to be great here.

It really isnt real until the pads come on. So all of this is just for the media. You start to find out who will be there in the trenches come Sept 17th at 9pm for 4 hours and won't fold when you put those pads on in a few days.

And that who is going to play the most.

It’s the same story from high school to the pros.

If you can block, you play.
I agree with, but I take David Lake’s evaluation with a grain of salt.

I value the coaches assessment on who is blocking and playing the best.
