Yeah we don’t have the DL that we’ve had in the past but when Taylor is in there along with Nesta, those guys are very disruptive. McCloud is rock solid and there’s some splash plays that can be made on the other side with Harvey/Johnson/Williams

To me playing Taylor has had a great domino effect (go figure right?)

Our DTs have been really good most of the season. We have depth at DT. They've played well. It's the DEs that were suspect early in the season. That position group is playing much better. Now if we could do something at LB and tighten up at CB, we'd win games by double digits.

Yeah collectively both lines seem to be meshing well the last few weeks
 
Their DL is solid but not otherworldly. In conference play, they're averaging fewer sacks than Pitt, NC state, UNC, and G Tech. And it's not like they haven't played passing teams like Wake or UNC.

This is a perfect description of what our defense does vs running QBs. It's just bizarre.
 
Run defense has been significantly better than pass defense this year. The only quarterback who hurt us running was Howell and that’s because we kept playing man and he’d take off as soon as the dbs turned their backs. We don’t have to defend the pass against FSU. They are very much a one dimensional team.

I honestly would like Amari Carter in this role of all ppl.

James isnt the best in open space.

So he should be ok against us.

This is a constant with drags or anything in the middle of the field on us and to the flats.

Just last game at the end of thegame needing a stop with a team with no timeouts.....we had a wr literally wide open to make a 30+ yd catch on the sideline. Got saved because there back up center was getting his sh*t pushed in so all his snaps were low.

Carter has been brutal in space lately but I know what you're saying. I think James is ideal but I'm cool having him centerfielding. Either way, just no carter. KSmith might not be a bad option.

Travis doesn’t make that throw
 
Is this really a question I vividly remember the slow *** North Carolina QB pinballing his way through our defense all game long while scoring TD’s. FSU will get theirs. Our defense sucks too bad for them not to. Question is can our offense outscore them.
