Zion hurt?

What draft?

If he doesn’t start playing at some point, then he’s not getting drafted.

He may get a late round look but that isn't worth it for him. At this point, he has played 20 snaps in 6 games this year. Let him sit for the next 3 weeks and have him play vs FSU, Clemson, Pitt and apply for a Redshirt so he can get two more years. Yes, TWO MORE!

If he is here for two more years something bad happened with his career trajectory.

Or he really wasn't a lock for the 1st round and now has to show it on the field.
I'm hoping by that point we have better talent. Probably wishful thinking but hoping we have Samson and Francis at both tackle spots in two years.

Elite teams that stack talent can have kids sitting for 2 years before playing for 2. If the kids are really good, they move inside for one year to get 2-3 years of PT. If Samson and Francis are better than Nelson, he moves inside. In the end, we need more NFL types along the front. As of today, we have 2 (Nelson/Rivers) on the OL and 3 on the DL (Jackson, LT, Meisor) with Kelly/Moss TBD. Yet, we wonder why we aren't able to push people around and force run plays against a stacked box.

Which is one of the big changes Mario has to have happen…no more bad early departures. This does mean they have to develop kids or they will just leave assuming they won’t be any better off in the following year.
