Hoping these small school or “smaller market school” guys from FL are looking to transfer in. PSA idc what u think about their size bro, these dudes can play.

Dewayne McBride-Mario will love him
Raheem Sanders
Malachi Corley
Demario Douglas - @Jaxson Villain knows what’s up
Yes yes yes! I’ve been clamoring for Demario to any one that will listen. Kids a beast and consistent as ****. He’s a future pro and I hope we can entice him to transfer out of Liberty.

We stunk last year too
Its incredible that people forget that even with Lashlee, the offense, with a lot of these same players routinely **** the bed for entire halves of games. typically the first half as well. Had 0 running game last year as well. Only reason there was smidge of a run game 2 seasons ago was because they had a running QB with King. This team was only ever going to go as far as TVD arm could take it, just like last year's

This is disingenuous. You KNOW we are comparing the production of Lashlee vs what we have and you are trying to attempt an argument that in the grand scheme of things, there really isn’t that much of a difference. Well, i rebuke your attempts.

Dan Enos to Rhett Lashlee to Gattis. Two are similar in the play on the field, what we ALL actually witnessed with our own eyes. And those two will probably share the same fate of being done after year one. The other got a HC job. There is a reason for that.

Do
What do you mean? We were never that good.

We beat App St 25-23

We beat NC State 31-30

We beat Pitt 38-34

We beat GT 33-30

The difference is Lashlee isn’t here to bail us out from our lack of talent.
Don’t forget losing to UVA 30-28 and how we got blown out by Michigan St and Alabama.

Selective memory by many in terms of talent on this team but at the same time this is some historically bad offense.

It’s amazing to me how people on this board - year after year - talk about all of the good players that we have. Wake the * up. This team completely stinks and it isn’t coaching.

Mario probably asks himself everyday how did it become this bad. Manny left the cupboards as bare as they could possibly be.
Manny won more games with a less talented team.

How many bad teams completely shut Miami’s offense down in 2020/2021? Maybe they didn’t have the horses to light up Alabama or Clemson but at least they weren’t struggling to get a single touchdown against bad ACC programs.

This is where the whole “we don’t have talent” argument gets thrown in the trash. Is this team loaded? Can they compete with the top programs in the country? Of course not. Have we played anyone, outside of Clemson that would be considered a top program? No. You can’t say we don’t have enough talent to score a single touchdown against Virginia or FSU. We don’t have enough talent to muster more than 20 points against a terrible Virginia Tech team? We’re losing to teams full of players that we would never even recruit.

LOL - Manny left the cupboard bare. Who did the guy actually recruit that was a good player? All of our recent decent players were all transfers (Phillips, Stevenson, King, Rambo, Roche, etc).

There may be a handful: 24 looks like a really good player, 56 looks like he could be good, 31 committed after Mario took over but may have committed to Manny, Van Dyke, maybe one or two others on offense. The OL is a complete disaster.

We need better players. It’s that simple.

Mario sucks let face it, most of the offense return so saying Manny left the cupboards bare is BS!

rebuke all you want, I don't care. Dan Enos had to try to produce with Jarren Williams!!!! Lashlee, who I like was struggling mightily to field an efficient offense. He got Lucky that TVD stepped in and stepped up. Lashlee getting a HC gig at SMU isnt proof that his offense here for 2 years was amazing. It was pretty **** mediocre until TVD

Again, this is not the argument. Amazing is Lincoln Riley. Amazing is Josh Heupal. Lashlee is NOT amazing.

We are COMPARING with what WE have had. There is a reason Enos and soon Gattis will be where they are. Some guys can be competent with what they have. The offense put up big numbers with King. He suffered a catastrophic injury and was never the same. TVD had to step in as a RS Freshman and he struggled early but Lashlee did what a COMPETENT OC does, he tailored the offense to his quarterback’s strength and got results. You insinuating that Lashlee just flipped the ball onto the field and got lucky? I mean, smdh

there is no excuse as to why our team is performing worse than last year. was manny better at motivating?

idk but it's not a good sign for the future

I still have hope that he cans gattis but if gattis is our OC next year then mario can go F himself

I don't get this mindset.

How is it a shock to anyone that Country Club Manny was running a soft program and when Mario came in with an iron fist, the weakest links on this team all broke?

Did you read the articles about Manny's broken culture and program? Guys bailing out on practice with minor injuries and still allowed to play on Saturdays? QB1 getting drunk, missing curfew and still getting the start against FIU? All that chatter about Manny being afraid his best players would bolt for the portal, so he just bent over and let the team walk all over him?

How do you think a team that was that mentally weak and soft was going to respond to an alpha rolling in and putting a boot up their *** with no lube? A place where he was gonna strip it down to the studs, and rebuild it from the ground up—running off the weakest links and only keeping the ones who could survive the tough in the trenches program Mario wants to build?

Yes, Gattis is a bad fit and needs to go and yes, Mario can't just build a ground and pound offense. Build the trenches like Georgia and preach toughness, but with some offensive innovation—no debate with any of that—but for anyone to be confused by how or why this team backslid ... no different than when Butch Davis showed up with his hard-*** approach and he had a divided locker room as some guys wanted to work and the other half liked Dennis Erickson's hands-off approach (which produced underachievers like Jammi German, Daniel Ferguson, etc.)

This isn't the year that fans wanted, but sure as sh*t isn't the year Cristobal wanted, either. For every fan who thinks they love this program, how much do you think THIS GUY actually loves it? You want Miami to be "back"—how badly does Mario want to bring it back, for himself, his teammates, his city and his program's legacy? Fans think they want it more than this guy? Stop.

Manny Diaz wasn't better at "motivating"—he had no rules or restrictions and the little beta let the players do whatever they wanted—while Mario went full alpha and laid down the law with a lot of kids who didn't want to hear that type of hard work-driven process from the new coach. Period, full stop.

We'll see in the next couple of years how "motivated" guys look playing under Cristobal, as "motivation" didn't seem to be a problem at Oregon.

Lmao, find a new sport

All we had to do this year was just re-use Lashlee’s playbook, and we’d have won 8 games.

But some genius decided to use an antiquated offensive system that requires a ton of top talent… which we don’t have.

Unless you had the second coming of Charleston Rambo out there with Mike Harley, Miami wasn't winning eight games with Lashlee's playbook.

There still is no go-to receiver on this squad, with Restrepo hurt most of the year and Young coming on late. We heard all off-season how undeveloped these receivers were and it showed.

Fans aren't giving enough credit to the roles Rambo and Harley played for TVD's ascension last year.

go check the box scores and drive charts yourself. struggled against plenty of bad teams in his 2yrs.
