I was enjoying it. It was the best thread of the night

All we had to do this year was just re-use Lashlee’s playbook, and we’d have won 8 games.
But some genius decided to use an antiquated offensive system that requires a ton of top talent… which we don’t have.
Not in the regular season like Lane. It was the first time in their history that they won 10 regular season games And Lane lost his OC and DC from last year and 80% of his offensive production and didn’t miss a beat.
They just beat fau by 28 points toIt's called coaching. Our COACHES don't put our players in position to make plays. We have a roster full of 3 and 4 star players that most big programs fought over. MTSU has 1 star players, but coaches that could at least get them into position to make plays against Miami. MTSU, by the way, is 5-5. They are NOT a talented team. They just ran into the biggest **** show on turf when they played us. That's coaching. Ours suck.
Still going to be top 25 and finish with at least 9 wins which is only 1 less than last year and still top 15 in offense with a completely rebuilt offense.Didn't miss a beat? He's about to be 8-3 and is down by 50 to a team that lost to Liberty two weeks ago.
If he's retained then I would agree. No D was around for several seasons but golden couldn't grow a sack. Doubt Mario has that problemBiggest problem is Gattis, he is the cancer here. He is D'Onofrio reincarnated on the offensive side of the ball. Steele has shown the ability to coach up the defense.
Yeah I know lashlee was so effective against clempson and had a starting QB. LmmfaoIt is on Mario...
Oh yeah. bama alsoYeah I know lashlee was so effective against clempson and had a starting QB. Lmmfao
I’d rather have both Austin Peay and Sanford’s offensive line than ours. It’s that bad. That's all that needs to be said..any decent coach could and should be able to scheme up 100 yards of offense against ANY team in the country.
Find me more games this year where a team didn't put up 100 yards of offense.
Austin Peay put 200 yards on Bama today. Sanford put up 128 yards on UGA earlier this year.
You're telling me that the disparity between our offense and Clemsons defense is greater than Samford and UGA or Austin Peay and Bama?
Those teams have a HUGE talent disadvantage and they're still finding ways to scheme more yards than we are.
Yeah, wonder what the difference between last year and this year is …it’s baffling for sure. Should be on unsolved mysteriesnot at all. His play last season motivated them because he could complete a forward pass and score TDs. This year...not so much.
I actually know why that happens…coaching. It’s your “gorilla logic” that can’t answer that question. If it’s not coaching as you constantly assert, Your only possible argument is that we somehow have worse talent than duke, which is laughableAgain, these aren't robots that coaches get to program. Just because your gorilla logic can't comprehend why one team can get a couple more wins than another in one season doesn't make it a bad argument.
You obviously don't get the Brady Hoke reference.
Mtsu did not out scheme us. Their players beat our players straight up. They defeated blocks, they got open, they tackled well, they straight up out played us. That's on the players.Just stop. We got stomped by MTSU, and it didn't have one **** thing to do with talent.
lol you just names 2 guys on D who’ll probably not be here..James Williams will start next year
Kam will start next year
Couch will start next year
Avantae will see significant time next year
Frank Ladson will start next year
Young will start next year
Restrepo will start next year
TVD will start next year
Arroyo and Skinner will split time next year
That is just some off of the top of my head minus the dline as you said. I don't expect to see significant differences overall. However, I happen to believe many of these players have more talent than their counterparts in the Coastal Division.
oh, and when you define Talent as (B), MTSU and Duke are indeed more talented, and it showed...A… It sorta depends how you define talent… speed, strength, dexterity and athleticism, natural instincts and smarts? – Yes
B… Willing to work the extra mile, lead by example, block and get dirty and go all out, get into the best shape and condition mentally and physically? – Yes
If you wanna say coaches need to impact (B) more than (A) I’d say you were right, and these high-priced guys have certainly come up short HERE!
If you wanna say this staff’s expertise to get top results out of (A) isn’t proven and worthy… and deny the immense influence of culture, attitude, desire, N.I.L. and more on (B), (which is awful here and the main cause of our poor results, ) I think you are fooling yourself.
Why are you speaking in riddles son. What two? And if you are right then cool but as of now i dont know what you are talking aboutlol you just names 2 guys on D who’ll probably not be here..
