Zero Talent - ZERO

Many of these same “mental midget” players were part of a 7-5 team last year with a HC whose salary was a small fraction of Mario Golden’s fat paycheck.

But keep blaming the players and deflecting blame from Mario Golden.
Mario isn't going anywhere. I'm not even a huge Mario guy so there is no sense in even starting with him. He needs to make changes to the staff, starting with that bum Gattis but the culture in the locker room also needs to change as well. Too many players on this team ok with losing and not putting in the extra work.

The players aren't perfect and they shoulder a portion of the blame. While there's no way to prove it, I'd bet at least 80 to 90 percent (possibly more) of the D1 coaches out there could get more out of this team. This is a **** show.

We were several lucky bounces from a 3 win season last year.

Miami has been been butter soft on a hot summers day for 15 plus years.

Mario is a hard nosed coach. Miami hasn’t had a coach with this mentality since Butch.

Give him a little time before you lose it.
Is he going to use his timeouts better and have his offensive coordinator not call plays up until 7 seconds on the clock everytime when we get more talented and tougher?

That’s the entire reason I started this thread. We DON’T HAVE ANY TALENT.
We don't have the talent to run that style of offense yet. The talent that we do have can still score points if paired with a more spread scheme, quicker reads, etc. They proved it last season.

No one thinks this team was going to the playoff this year. However, they shouldn't be sweating bowl eligibility heading into the last game of the season either. I understand it is not the style of offense that this staff wants to be playing eventually, but don't you want to win as many games as you can in the meantime?

The guy went into Columbus and won just one year ago. He knows what kind of talent is needed, and he knows that we don't have it.

To do what? Not lose or get blown out to MTSU, Duke, and FSU? Nobody was asking him to beat a team the level of Ohio State this year on the road. Last year's results, Tennessee first year results would probably suffice and be a lot better than this. He has to do much better next year and in today's climate there is no excuse not to. Even Manny significantly improved year two with an 8-3 record.

Not Miami? Still wondering how they could get to 7 wins in the coastal while we’re sitting at 5 in the same division. Their record is much better this year over last year , ours is worse.

Because for people with limited ability to see the big picture, everything is black and white. If one team improves and another doesn't, the first team's coach must be better.

Oh, and Brady Hoke says hello.
