Zero scholarship tight ends a positive?

Cause we’ve done it all year against some of the worst defenses and we can’t do it. Can you please explain how we started the game 8 rushes for 15 yards? Please for the love of god answer this question.

GT is #39
FSU is #35
BC is #49
UVA is #47

Every single one of them is in the top half of the NCAA in run defense, so tell me more about "some of the worst defenses".

UNC and Duke are ranked 100+
UNC we had 229 rushing yards
Duke we had 300 rushing yards

You still throwing random **** instead of answering the question.

Are you really shaking a stick at those teams in the “upper half” of college football. That’s a joke. We started the year at #6 in the country and were favored in every single game to start the year. That’s should tell you the talent we have. Like I said we haven’t ran the ball on a team with a pulse all year and against a ****** defense we started 8 carries for 15 yards. How you don’t see that once the TEs went out we spread them out and ran less on first and second down and then had success later. The gamesplans by our OC are high school level stuff. He has the same gameplan every single game. It’s why we’ve been outscored by over 50 in the first quarter since Richt has been here.

So I ask the question yet 1 more time, explain how it was such a good gameplan that we started with 15 yards on 8 carries and scored 3 points and the offense didn’t take off till both TEs were out? Lol

You keep talking about what happened at the game. The talent we have doesn't mean we can just do whatever the fvck we want on offense so no clue why you brought it up. And you're missing the point. It was a good game plan based on the circumstances. I really have no clue how you're continually trying to argue about how planning to run against a terrible run defense is a bad idea.

Could make Mork take a look at all the athletes he has at his disposal "Imagine That"

Our TE's are effectively WR's in terms of their skills and size anyway. This just forced Richt to quit pretending that he has TE's (and an OL) that is capable of executing a power running game.

Herald did a piece on the huge gain per play once Rorcht was forced to go spread. Jumped from like 3.8 to 7.2 yards per play. The season average was just over 5. Pay attention Rorcht, pay attention....
@Astcloud11 Huh that’s interesting! My man @Astcloud11 said we had a great gameplan to start the game yet we ran 8 times for 15 yards. Lol Oh and par for the course, our OC comes out soft yet again to a whopping 3 first quarter points and we’re playing catching like we do almost every game.

So running against a bad run defense is a bad idea

I think starting off with the run game wasn’t a bad idea, until it didn’t work. Bud Foster ran run blitzes into the gaps and stopped us cold. It was when Jordan and Mallory went out which forced Richt’s hand did we start to see results. Bud couldn’t counter it because he doesn’t have speed at his defensive skill positions, and usually doesn’t. When we line up 4 wide with our speed few defenses in the nation can. I pray this is an epiphany for Richt like when he went and changed the offense late 2016. Why he doesn’t realize what he has personnel wise bewilders me. A spread offense with a balanced run game would get us in, or close to, the CFP every year with the way we’ve recruited and developed our defense with Manny’s leadership.

There are only 64 p5 teams so every single one of those teams is in the bottom half of the p5. UVA and BC are pretty close to some of the worse. Only 15 or so teams are worse than them in terms of defense. Also, all 4 of those teams have inflated defensive numbers because of the conference they are in. If they had to go against a Big-12/pac-12 air raid offense every week they would drop siginifcantly. If they had to deal with the B1G or SEC OL and their smash mouth RBs every game they would drop as well.

That's not how it works bro. This was NCAA statistics based on 126? teams. Which means there are P5 teams ranked worse than 64 and there are non-P5 teams ranked in front of them. Also trying to bring up conferences and **** is nitpicking because **** it why compare stats at all?

I didn't bring up stats. I think the stats are pointless because the teams are in different conferences. You can't tell me FSU is one of the better defenses in the nation. No matter what the stats say.
