Zero positives

You must have memory issues. 97-01 we never looked like tonight. NEVER!
Oh Yeah, were you around the Grassy board after the Chaffee reception in what 99 against PSU (with Ed Reed defending). People were calling for Reed's (the 2*) head. What about after the East Carolina loss when people were calling for Butch's head. And the best was, (even though it was before the Internet), was after the loss to Florida A & M. The uproar was so great that Howard publicly apologized and took the it rather than throw the players under the bus.

The point is, they're not perfect. There are going to ups and downs. And the ride's going to be more like a roller coaster rather than a straight linear climb. So you decide for yourself if you like roller coaster rides.

Honest question: how do you guy stay motivated to follow the canes when we have not come close to winning a natty let a lone an ACC championship in the last 20 years? Its the same crap year in and year out. Im convinced we will never be great again, sadly.

New year same problems

-Missed tackles
-very poor OL play (10 sacks), zero push
-special teams blunders (baxa, JT4)
-pathetic play calling outside of first drive
-redzone scoring
-defense folding
-penalties

I don’t know about the rest of y’all, but this might of been the worst game I’ve ever seen.

How many years.. how many coaches...how many games are we going to watch where we make a nice play and then follow it up with a complete disaster of a play.

Example:

UFs opening drive: We stop on 3rd down. They convert on a fake punt. Next play we miss 6 tackles and they house a screen pass.

Baxa shanks kick. Franks throws Pic. Blades personal foul. Then offense has 2 chop blocks.

We are a very poorly coached team. Every team makes mistakes, but not like we do. We turn bad plays into catastrophes. And we manage to have catastrophes every possession.

I’m not ready to call for anyone’s head, but some major red flags are flying after this game.
So funny you thought it would be different with new coaches, qb, ol, schemes, etc.You all group thinked yourselves into believing this team was the $;(-. Maybe spend some time in realty vs rah-rah threads

UF is ranked 8th.

They had 4 TOs. We had 2.
They averaged 1.7 YPC, we averaged over 2.
They needed a total of 4 fourth-down plays...our 3rd down D was on point.
Jarren looked disciplined and avoids big mistakes, but needs to speed his decisions.
We had opportunities to win. It sucks that we didn’t capitalize. But ****’s sake, it’s dumb to say there were no positives.

If you think that’s a top 8 team then you need glasses my friend . Those are above average teams at best

We faced a team that~
(1) brought back a 3rd year starting QB.
(2) Their Top 6 WRs,
(3) Their Top 3 RBs
(4) Pretty sure their entire defensive staff
(5) Who put up 45 points down the stretch of their last 5 (?) games in 2017
..and we basically GIFTED them 10 points for them to reach 24 and only 300 total yards - 1.8 yards per carry?. But, y’all don’t see any positives?

100% agree for some reason manny is getting a pass and i dont get it at all im guessing this is the new miami fans cant be older than 25 so many idiots on here its ok we can bash the coach for having a team absolutely not prepared at all we looked like and absolute joke out there a pee wee team had better coaching

47-0 to FSU in 97 with Covington crushed into his own goalpost?

The McNabb massacre in 98?

Vag tech 99?

I know we lost to the sorry *** turds and the o tackles was bad, but some are being way too emotional,

What happened the last game of 2018? First game of 2018? What would have happened if Richt had run this offseason?

The tackles ain’t ready and our most dangerous player made key game changing mistakes.

The thing that disappoints me most is Enos not being prepared with the tackles struggling in the offseason. The first scripted drive was beautiful. After that Enos did his best Coley impersonation. Uf ‘s defense didn’t change that much for him to abandon the quick passing that worked so well. We beat tight man coverage on the first drive.

I think he got impatient and went to the plays he likes to run.. I was hoping he would have evolved more from Arkansas with more good stuff from shotgun. His plays are too slow and he needs to adjust.

He looks too much like Richt for my liking. Slow tempo and plays that take an hour to simmer before they’re ready.

I would like to see him pick up the pace and let the run game play hard and fast downhill, whether inside or out. Scrap the under center playaction and use some run fakes/ rpo out of shotgun with slants, drags, and curls.

With the tackle play so weak, we will have to use more pace and aggressiveness mixed with the element of surprise.

Players will be fine to have a solid season. We need better planning for the personnel issues on hand and better mental execution of the fundamentals. Those are coaching issues and can be fixed.

Grew up watching them and was there for the good times. Same with the Dolphins.

Young staff that could use a couple gray hairs to be honest. They have done well in toughening these kids up but everything else needs major work.

58-0 is the worst Miami game I've ever seen

48-0 to uva was worse considering the circumstances of the last orange bowl game and a pedestrian uva team. 58-0 was to an insanely good team and just about all of us were grinning ear to ear because we knew golden wouldn't be around much longer.

People’s expectations are out of kilter. I have no clue why anyone would think we were suddenly going to make a 180 degree turnaround, when we’ve got a first year HC, two first time starts at tackle one of which is a true freshman, new OC, new S&C coach, so on and so forth.

It simply doesn’t work that way. What people should be looking for is development, the team getting better as the seasons wears on. If we see that and I expect we will, then you’ve got some **** good coaches on your staff.

If everything remains the same, then by all means **** all over them.
