Zero positives

UF is ranked 8th.

They had 4 TOs. We had 2.
They averaged 1.7 YPC, we averaged over 2.
They needed a total of 4 fourth-down plays...our 3rd down D was on point.
Jarren looked disciplined and avoids big mistakes, but needs to speed up Gus decisions.
We had opportunities to win. It sucks that we didn’t capitalize. But ****’s sake, it’s dumb to say there were no positives.

Ok if you wanna get technical...

Yes there were a couple things to be happy about. Opening drive and the 90 yard drive.

That’s it.

The rest was a **** show. You must of watched the wrong game.

90% of the errors tonight were the result of an undisciplined squad.

Diaz was here last year, and it’s a bad sign that the team shows no discipline,
Same as it was under Shannon who was not really respected in the locker room, and as the team lost the kids tuned him out even more.

When you elevate a guy from a failed regime and the team looks exactly the same, it is a bad bad sign.

New year same problems

-Missed tackles
-very poor OL play (10 sacks), zero push
-special teams blunders (baxa, JT4)
-pathetic play calling outside of first drive
-redzone scoring
-defense folding
-penalties

I don’t know about the rest of y’all, but this might of been the worst game I’ve ever seen.

How many years.. how many coaches...how many games are we going to watch where we make a nice play and then follow it up with a complete disaster of a play.

Example:

UFs opening drive: We stop on 3rd down. They convert on a fake punt. Next play we miss 6 tackles and they house a screen pass.

Baxa shanks kick. Franks throws Pic. Blades personal foul. Then offense has 2 chop blocks.

We are a very poorly coached team. Every team makes mistakes, but not like we do. We turn bad plays into catastrophes. And we manage to have catastrophes every possession.

I’m not ready to call for anyone’s head, but some major red flags are flying after this game.

There's a reason Florida was ranked in the top 10 and Miami was unranked Just saying.....
You can't think the professionals at ESPN and the experts in the NCAA Commitee are all wrong and they predicted us to loose the game. TBH A lot of us knew that starting two freshman at O-line was a future move and a huge liability going into this game. So, instead of starting a lynch mob and calling for someone's head (Talking in general)... Calm down and trust that the coaches will work to correct the issues the best way they can. Wether that involves coaching, weight room, experience, or simply recruiting replacements it will get fixed so be patient.

Holy ****. Even with everything you listed going wrong we almost won that game. If Brevin Jordan made that catch everyone would be singing a different toon.....

Its ****** we lost but I feel much better about this team than I did last year after we got blown out by LSU. The OT’s and the QB will improve with each game. The defense is still great. We have a cupcake schedule the rest of the year. I could easily see us having a better record and ranked higher than the Gators by the end of the year!

Not sure the last time I saw a team make a potential game winning interception to go backwards 30 yards with penalties. Blades pf was dumb. The Gaynor chop block was just as dumb. It’s like we had two guys just totally lose their minds.

Too many mental mistakes tonight Thank god UF had just as many.....

Disagree. Tons of positives.

But, not enough for a win. Our resiliency was noticeable. IMO, that's huge. I think our OC got out-coached down the stretch, and he failed to help a young OL. But, I think we'll adjust. We have a LOT more coaching to do. But, I actually feel ok about my Miami Hurricanes. We looked HORRID at times - but, I can see how a few changes would clearly help us clean that all up.

There will be fewer sacks, missed blocks, muffed punts, and missed tackles down the stretch. JW won't over process either, IMO. And, I think Diaz will talk to Enos about ADJUSTMENTS.

We still played HARD. With all of the mistakes - we were resilient. We just didn't HELP OURSELVES when it mattered.

Golden never really showed the positives that we thought at the time. All of the big games he won turned about to be against **** teams. Richt had positives but they were all the result of Manny Diaz's defense.

The gators will win 9+ games this year and have a lot of talent. We have have a solid coaching staff. Mark it down. The program is in a good place right now.
What about that gators team says 9+ wins other than their DEs?

That's just a ridiculous overreaction but it's to be expected.

You guys can’t be real fans acting like a bunch of pussi’s.... yeah it’s the first game we looked sloppy at times but lots of positives we looked better vs #8 FL than we did a year ago against #25 lsu.
