YouTube TV loses ESPN/Disney

Not sure about that! You would need log in info to watch games on regular ESPN on the app which would be your YTTV log in

I swear last time this happened with someone else, they could not use ESPN app to watch the games
You can’t get regular espn with espn+. You do have to upgrade to the all access deal.

I just noticed this morning, the local ABC station is not in the live TV channel list. I thought it might have been a YouTube TV programming issue?
Thanks for the heads-up.

Email I got from them this morning:

In order to deliver a wide variety of sports, news, and entertainment programming on YouTube TV, we enter into agreements with network partners. Each time we renew our contracts with these partners, we advocate for fair pricing and greater flexibility to offer our subscribers the best possible live TV experience. Our current agreement with Disney has approached its renewal date, and we will not agree to terms that disadvantage our members while benefiting Disney’s own live TV products. Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to reach a fair deal, and starting today, October 30, 2025, Disney programming will not be available on YouTube TV. This means you will no longer be able to watch channels like ABC and ESPN or access recordings from these networks in your Library.

We know how disruptive it is to lose channels you enjoy, which is why it’s our goal to bring Disney content back to YouTube TV. We’re committed to continuing to work with Disney to reach an agreement, but if their content is unavailable for an extended period of time, we’ll offer our subscribers a $20 credit.

You can continue to watch Disney’s sports programming by signing up for ESPN directly. For more information on the impact to our 4K Plus and Spanish Plus add-ons, please visit our Help Center.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to advocate on behalf of our subscribers and work towards a new agreement with Disney. We will continue to update our Help Center with the latest. As always, family managers have the ability to cancel anytime.

We appreciate your YouTube TV membership.

Sincerely,
The YouTube TV team
Local ABC was broadcasting yesterday 10/30/2025. Today is when it stopped.

It looks like my best option is sticking with Youtube TV and using the credit to go towards ESPN+/Disney+/Hulu. Youtube tv has the exclusive rights to the NFL League Pass. I have to watch the Dolphins go 4-13 this year.

So to watch the SMU game, YTTV is no longer an option? What are YTTV users going to do here?
Gonna cancel YTTV til they get this figured out and use Hulu in the meantime. Once it gets figured out I’ll switch back with 4 clicks of a button.

Aside from UM athletics and USA-related soccer, I've become a very casual sports fan and when I've found of late is that on any given night I flip around YTTV and I don't' much, if any, live sports. I go to bed assuming there wasn't much going on that evening only to wake up and find it was the opposite. Ridiculous.

Chris Grier just resigned/fired
Thank God. That was loooooong overdue. Hopefully Ross will get someone in there that actually knows what they are doing, but I am not holding my breath. Amazon was really pouring it on last night with the no Super Bowl wins for 52 years and no playoff wins for 24 years. Of course those are things Dolphin fans know, but it really hit home how bad the franchise has been (especially the last 2 decades). I have remorse for dooming my son to a lifetime of being a Dolphins fan. Took him to the Colts game this year and unfortunately we didn't get the memo that we needed to bring paper bags to wear over our heads.
