What's your game plan for next Saturday?

Here's my game plan for Clemson:

1. Run Homer on 1st down, but not just in the middle. He really gets better as the game goes along.
2. Throw deep only: (1) on a sudden change, (2) when Clemson subs a corner, or (3) it's 2nd and short.
3. Throw more Bubble screens on 2nd down
4. Involve Langham a bit more than versus Pitt
5. Move Rosier's pocket frequently.
6. Bring in a 6th OL to run from time to time.
7. Assuming no Herndon, go three and 4 wide and keep Homer in the backfield to pass block.
8. Target Berrios and Richards a bunch assuming no Herndon.
9. Get the ball to Thomas in space, the old flanker screen we ran with Kevin Williams.

Keep it vanilla. Give Rosier a few easy throws early to build back his confidence. Call a few QB draws early.

The majority of teams that beat Clemson have had a good QB. Yes the defense must make stops and create turn overs. But if Malik struggles it could be a long night. We need him to leave it all out on the field. Win or Lose let Malik be the player who got us this far!

I want to see the best called game of Richt's career. We'll need it. Get creative, and go uptempo. Leave it all on the field.

In the movies, this is the part where the coach finally lets go and lets the players play.

Clemson is going to force Rosier to beat us with his arm. I would not run Homer on first down because we've done it **** near every game on the road and gotten nothing from it because everybody expects it. I would make a whole lot of use of our NFL bound TE and our senior slot receiver and try to get Rosier into a rhythm as he is a streaky passer. I would use the pass to open up the run. After hitting on short to mid range passes, I'd try to hit a few over the top to our speedsters.

Yeah, nothing too short, as Clemson will be near the line to start the game. We need some passes down the field early or it will be a long night.

Sounds good except I don’t think we will have our nfl bound TE

Agreed. FSU type of game imo. We wont be able to run til the 4th and we'll only be able to do it in 2 min situations where theyre expecting pass.

IDC what we do as long as we play a full complete game. Must hit on all cylinders next 2/3 games

If we run Homer consistently on first down we will lose. Vanilla loses. I'd love to see a middle screen pass to Homer, use their aggressive d line against them.

Exactly. If Clemson does as expected the short and mid range routes should be open.

Just roll the ******* pocket for ***** sake.

Also, would be nice to see some of these throwback screens that seemingly everyone else uses.

And inside the 5, go to the Wildcat.

A single tear was shed for “nfl bound tight end”

The worst thing about pitt wasn’t the L, it was the injury report.

Fake run on 1st and throw short passes a couple times...before an actual run

Then incorporate Homer into the short passing game. Hit him on a wheel route and skinny post. I think he and DJ can be effective in the short mid range passing game.

Hopefully Richt took some notes from the iron bowl and Gus. Auburn’s play calling today was outstanding and kept Bama on their heels most of the game.

Yeah...hurts. I already have that game circled for next season.
