Coaching You were Warned...

@Poopscoop told y'all for the better part of 2yrs this staff was Trash...and after being ridiculed and scorned upon, Guess what??....He was 100% right once again...That's why I listen to a former player..who's close to the entire situation...Don't get me wrong, I truly appreciate @Cribby and @gogeta4 for their contributions to this site. But I for one listen to someone who knows exactly what a quality staff looks like, because he **** sure played for one.

I was thinking about starting a thread with this EXACT title.

It is more appropriate that you reminded us. No lies spoken.

This is why I hate these things. Context is rough some times. That's the #1 line for the defenders "so whos better than him" than it's all the reasons they're not. Honestly if we can get Mario to take less money (which he may) he'd be a home run hire because with him he has the right mentality. He knows physical football, he's a monster recruiter, his kids love him & he knows this landscape basically better than anyone. The board had the right idea saying let's get a Cuban in here in this Cuban market. Than flake ****ed up and hired this ****** politician film guy...
My brother if we’re going to hire a Cuban for the Cuban market then at least hire one that’s full Cuban who could speak some mf Spanish and could relate to Cubans.this mf manny is more white American Than Cuban.on top of that his an FSU grad.my point he doesn’t relate to Cubans nor to the university of Miami grads his an FSU grad.fans care about wins and losses not about no race or nationality.it’s time for the bot to step up and hire a proven winner we been miserable for the last 18 years.if they were going to hire a Cuban they should of hired Mario um grad.won 2 national championships as a player had been a head coach, assistant under saban.1 of the 2 the decion maker’s at um are retarded or they don’t give a Fock

For all the talk about Zo as AD or Football GM, what about:

Cane legend, clearly knows footall. Fast tracking NFL executive, now asst-GM at Carolina. Previously helped build Buffalo into a playoff team as Director of Player Personnel, before that in Seattle as Director of Pro Personnel and Asst-Director of Pro Personnel. Could be an NFL GM soon enough, may not be interested in the college game.

Why would he leave the NFL to become an AD? He gotta do fundraising and all kind of BS that don't have to do with Miami Football

How many other coaches can anyone point to and say this guy wants to be at Miami because Miami means something to him? There's a reason Oregon writers are saying "Mario is not leaving for USC, but worry about Miami." Miami means a lot to Mario and his passion for fixing his alma mater really can't be matched. He'd take losing personally. Its not just oh no I may lose my job. Its I let my MY school down. MY city down. MY friends down. MY family down. Players can sense that passion. Its a lot easier to buy into something when you know without a doubt that your HC does. That's what the right mindset can do.

And besides, how many other coaches on all these hypothetical lists can we actually say wouldn't just want to use UM as a temporary stop on the way to something bigger? That's what people don't seem to get. How long would Lane Kiffin stick around? Or Hugh Freeze?

Give me the guy who genuinely WANTS to turn this place around and do his damnedest to return it to glory. Something he was actually part of. Not the guy who's entire reason for coming here is to leave for greener pastures the minute he signs the papers.

Get yourself a woman as fine as mine before running your trap about a weirdo, Enos's Loveboy...
LOL. Do you even know how pathetic you sound or are you too ignorant to realize people aren't laughing with you .... they are laughing at you.

Why is that always y'all's go to line? Again seperate one from the other. #1 this ****** assclown needs to go... Simple. #2 it's not y'all's business to find a replacement. It's not Jenn strawley job to find a replacement. Get a competent firm of head hunters in place that have spoke to the people who have succeeded here and understand the landscape & come up with a short list... Don't reach for some assclown that doesn't fit your criteria once you get turned down several times(which is **** sure gonna happen)just to make a hire. #3 make sure Blake ****** James has zero to do with any part of this decision. (Side note if it wasn't obvious I will let y'all know we have reached out to several agents for individuals representing potential a.d.) getting rid of him should be #1 but it's a lil more to it than that. #4 stu & phil need to reach back out to Alonzo and get this done... He needs to be here independent of any ad now or future and have authority too.

No chance Morgan leaves the pro game to become an AD here when he’s on track to get a GM job in the next 3 years.

Your profile name is "Manolo Montana" and your pic is Manny with some gangsta looking corn-rows. I think you may have gone just a little "fan boy" urself.
I wanted Manny to win as a fellow Cuban, but I never once defended him when I saw red flags. I thought year 1 was awful but was encouraged by swift changes made. Year 2 was an improvement, but still major flaws. I had low expectations coming into this year and even hes managed to fall below those. I call it like I see it.

Side note: I don’t even know how to change my name.
