You heard it here first. If we lose Dawson to a HC gig. I want Golesh as his replacement.

Wonder if he would consider it. Or would Mario interview him? Maybe his offense is too uptempo. What do you guys think?
No. Of course he would not consider it. Dude gonna get paid at his next HC gig. More likely than Dawson to get poached for one.

I'm not a fan of these offenses for schools that have well established o-lines. The tempo stuff is to make up for deficiencies but it's at the cost of putting your defense on the field for too long. It was the issue Lashlee had here. If the offense isn't working your defense is going to be on the field a lot.

If you're looking for a possible replacement for Dawson that's not a meme candidate - Tim Cramsey. Was Mario's OC at FIU, now at Memphis. They had the #16 ranked offense in 2024.

Bring him home. It's time

1. Easiest offense to Negative Recruit as it does not prepare guys for the NFL (QBs/WRs)
2. Tennessee struggles against top teams once the scheme is figured out..same offense
3. What has USF done offensively to warrant any praise besides ride the coattails of B. Brown? Even then he has barely progressed as a passer.
4. The scheme overall is very pedestrian and puts the Defense in horrible spots, once time of possession gets taken from them.
5. If he is this master genius at OC..show me what he has done in a conference where seemingly he has had a talent advantage.

I believe he wins the conference this year. If he doesn’t it’s a real shame. This may be his best chance.

Yes, but doing it with a relatively new head coach who has his team ranked the highest since he took over is...chef's kiss...

We gotta believe he’ll be on the move. Be it as most of you say. For a head coaching gig. No way he stays if they win the conference and get close to the CFP. I agree he will wanted for an HC job.
