We will be better rushing the ball.

I can';t think of any top tier defense we faced where Duke looked great.

In fact he looked AVG against top defenses.

Joe Yearby is a better RB than Duke Johnson. He'll certainly be less injury prone and won't cough up the football at crucial times like Duke, than proceed to pout on the sideline like a woman.

I think a lot of people are underestimating Yearby's potential, but Duke was a special back, one of the best in our history of great backs.

one of the best but nowhere near the level of edge, mcgahhee, etc..

I ask again, in what games did Duke take over a game against top defense?

All the top defense shut him down.

He sure looked great against FAU, Cincinatti, and Behtune Cook though.

It's sad when you can't support player without tearing down another... Year by is no where near as talented as Duke... He'll do alright this year but we are going to miss Duke and the rest of the departed players...

Yearby IS more talented than Duke.

Duke was not a good runner between the tackles.

Yearby and Walton do not have fumble issues like Duke, nor do they get injured like him.

These are the facts.

LULZ. Yearby does not have Duke's speed, acceleration, balance, vision or stiff arm. The guy has eyes in the back of his head. Yearby has elite cutting ability and quickness. But so does Duke and Duke holds rushing records over all the backs to ever play here, with his actual playing time maybe at 2 seasons and with a worse OL.

Yearby has better speed, acceleration, and balance than Duke.

Duke got caught from the back multiple times, so don't act like he's some speed demon.

He also has better patience and vision.

He also can run between the tackles.

He also doesn't fumble the ball.

FULL ******. Danny, did u make another screen name? Please take your meds.

By the way, Duke ran a 4.39 as a freshman and supposedly ran faster last year, Yearby can't touch that. This is no knock on him, I think he will be great BUT PLEASE.

I know that you're trolling but, Yearby missed most of his senior year because of injury and when has he looked impressive between the tackles?

While Duke may have been a bit injury prone, and on occasions had fumble problems, you are overblowing those issues. Yearby has not shown himself to be more talented than Duke, in high school and thus far in college. Is it possible he can take it to that next level, sure, but from what we've seen thus far, he's not quite at Duke's level. Duke actually ran quite well between the tackles and some of his big runs came after breaking through the middle of the line.

I wish people would stop using Yearby's ankle as an excuse. He missed the playoffs his Senior season, not the whole year. He broke his ankle and could have practiced last Spring, but he was held out as a precaution. The ankle had no affect on his performance last year.

Duke also broke his ankle before last year, and no one mentioned it for Duke, but people always want to use it as an excuse for Yearby.

wow more ******* threads on Duke Verus Yearby...

let Duke Gooooooooooooooooooooo

Let Yearby PLAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy
