This is the hyperbole that ruins message boards. If we can't tackle and can't run more than ten plays and can't get a punt off, then how in the **** did we win 10 games last year?
Maybe because we major red flags leading into year 3 from year 1?
Maybe because this team has two 4 game losing streaks?
Maybe bc we are the bottom of 3rd down stars offensively and defensively
Welcome to college football. There's a reason why we have 10 undefeated teams in October and one in November.
What these red flags you keeping talking about?
And I’m fine with a loss against a good team (at this point) if they actually show more signs than not of one day being a team that can compete for the playoff year after year.
Yeah, unfortunately we're further away from that than just hiring new coaches, I'm afraid. The teams that have consistently competed for playoff spots is a pretty short list.
You mean only year three. Which if your fair is only 2 recruiting classes. They've improved each year. We dont know how we will finish this year. That’s usually what ppl say when I post irrefutable facts.
So let me ask you this... is this the Miami team you expected year 3?

I was here for the 80's, 90's, 2001 canes teams. Your lying if you say they dominated every game.
Seems that Richt has already corrected the penalty issue we had in the LSU game which was uncarteristic of his teams.
Boston College and VT are surefire losses.
FIU is a surefire win.
The rest are tossups.
We are still the best team in the ACC costal and have plenty of young talent. We got are *** kicked against LSU but we can still compete for the ACC championship. We are a top 15 program and have improved every year since richt has arrived. Yes I do agree we could have better coaching but the defense has played well all season even against LSU. They collapsed a bit when Knowles came in the game. Offense was Rolling on all parts today from play calling to the Oline. It was a blowout win and were improving each game. We also have not had a offensive or defensive penalty in 7 and half QTRs. I think we can go into the ACC championship at 11-1 or 10-2 I didn't expect us to be a cfb playoff team this year.

We shouldn't have been going 3 and out against Toledo. We scored 21 in the first half when we should have had at least two more scores up on the board. We went 3 and out on a drive that started at midfield against this putrid defense.
Also Malik was 6-14 midway through the 3rd quarter. He did finish strong going 7-9 after that.

Been swamped at work so haven't been on the boards in a while so not sure why the huge issue with the OP but his point is accurate. You could see after the LSU game all the weaknesses we had last year were still present. OL/QB/Punter/3rd down efficiency on both sides/silly penalties you name it. That was masked by 31 TO's last year but we can't count on 31 TO's every year. Can’t even be happy during a 20+ point win on the road.
Year 1 problem are still hear at year 3z
Heads need to roll!
I’m surprised you are actually aware of something. You basically admit we are a medicore team with this reponse.
You don’t?
Glaring issues but refuses to make any changes to correct them. So I can't imagine any of the issues correcting themselves before years end.
