Y'all still don't want Orgeron?

I was absolutely wrong about Ogreron at LSU but you also gotta remember that not all these coaches work out universally disirregardless of the school. Ogreron is obviously in the absolute best fit situation for himself right now. It didn't work for him in other places and I don't think it would've worked for him longterm beyond that little blip of success he had at USC.

if we can have his exact staff and boosters of course.

Miami would hire Ed and then give him a 1 million dollar assistants budget, bc they earmarked the rest of our funds for the womens clam jousting team.

Jousting clams. Yowzah!

Ed O was loved and respected by the players at USC and he did well that season as the interim coach (6-2) BUT he wasn’t deemed to be a “USC man” by the boosters and the administration. USC has been wallowing in mediocrity since then and are still sinking. Coach O is someone I’d love to play for. He is LSU.

Orgeron is a big goof ball who managed to surround himself with good assistants. There is hope. Orgeron is a living example and Manny should take heed.

Nah. Orgeron has always been a motivator and elite recruiter. Manny is neither.

Orgeron needs the monetary commitment to a good staff but he's a good head man.

He would suck at Miami (well, we'd be improved at least) but he's not replicating this with our athletic department.

Coach o is doing a great job so far but ima see how they do next year without joe before i anoint him.

Coach O took a few years to finally put it together at LSU. This board would have called for his head after his first year

Board would have wanted Dabo's head after going 6-7 in his 2nd full year of being a coach. Year 1 would have been viewed as Tommy Bowden's team so wouldn't count. Year 2 would have been proof that hiring a position coordinator that was a few years removed from being an insurance salesman was a bad idea.
