Wonder what this really means and if the school is now regretting passing on a bowl this year.

Link or it didn't happen. The country wants to want to watch us burn and will roast marshmallows over our burning corpse.

NOBODY is on our side.

I'm with Zino on this one. Shalala is going to take this and run with it to skate-town.

They are on our side now

A rogue NCAA enfircement team scares them way more than Miami

Our punishment....

We are forced to fire Al Golden and hire Shannon and Coker as Co-Head Coaches.

Check out the comments in the Dodd article, and even the Dodd article itself. The Adande tweets others have posted. The front page of EDSBS.com which is run by Gators. 90% of people are on our side with this. People may hate us, but they hate the NCAA even more, and know that their turn will come eventually.

Our fanbase is truly delusional. We aren`t skating. Stop being in denial. The NCAA is going to hit us harder than we`d like to admit.

We've already self-imposed two bowl bans, we can expect more sanctions (scholly losses at least) and we're still being run through the mud.

We're far from skating already.

A 3rd bowl ban would set this program back. Not to mention, the # of scholarships they are taking away which will hurt our depth in the next 3 or 4 years.

How much blood could they possibly take?

We skate.

I believe the initial penalties would have included a three year bowl ban.. but they'll leave it at 2 since we self imposed and have played along the whole time

Some "experts" are suggesting that the letter went out to players whom the NCAA has corroborating evidence against. This letter would be a formality in which the enforcement committee could show the infractions committee in case Miami claims the accused players didn't have a chance to clear their name.

Why send the ultimatum letter then? They've previously sent multiple requests to talk to these guys. Those requests and hard evidence isn't theoretically enough? They also need a non-admission admission through silence/extortion?
