What I saw was a team the clearly outplayed the other. Our guys played a tough game against a good pass D w/ ****** weather (again) and should’ve won the game.

Mario/Dawson but I can’t leave out Don/TVD/TC/Kam lost it on crucial blunders at the exact time. 99.9% chance those series of events don’t happen. It’s once in a football lifetime.

So the reality is our team was good enough to win. We haven’t fielded a team this good in a lonnnnnnnng time. Still good enough to beat anyone on the schedule.

This team isn’t going 7-5. I also never believed this team was going undefeated.

GT is probably better than you believed. A 4 game sample size never will tell the story of a team for a season. They can be 9-3 or 3-9 we don’t know. Our Canes can still go 11-1 or 4-8.

Some people (w a ******) like to predict the future and get emotional off of what they BELIEVE is going to happen and pretend it’s an absolute. Get your testosterone checked for real.

We beat UNC and everyone who is off the bandwagon this week will be leading the charge the next. If you know football you can see what’s going on. We’re pretty **** good.

Y’all know nobody is getting fired either y’all are just being emo. Some of you had secret national championship dreams this year I know.

Oh no!!!!🫣 To care about how we lost the fockin ball game makes me soft ? Respectfully Gtfoh with that nonsense. For the team to battle back and take the lead even with all the BS officiating and have the Corching lose the game was traumatic for me as a fan! My drive back to west palm felt so fockin long and I honestly was hurting. If you don’t feel the same way then good for you. I would never do anything to harm the program like those fools tweeting kids not to come here, but Fock man try and understand that even with an ugly win it’s still a win and the players deserved the win because they fought back. I guess Matt Lee and Cheney are soft also because they were crying of how much it hurt to lose in the way they did. I’m not changing sides I ride and die with The Canes no matter what.

Facts making us look bad. We got a good team headed in the right direction but nah they want 15-0 off the rip. I get it it’s a tough loss it sucks super bad but when you see what’s here and what’s coming you know you are in good hands. Especially if you have watched this sport the past 20 years. You know when a team is building a top ten squad we seen it before here and elsewhere. We know the formula and we know how it is.

I’m upset too but patient and I have no patience but I seen signs on the trail that have relaxed me since last cycle.

The poster above makes perfect sense. We shouldn't even been in the last SECONDS if the receivers catch the ball and TVD played like crap all game our defense played good so what I'M saying we would have won if the offense played a lot better it would not come down to this last play. Wake up and support the team. We are way BETTER off than last year. Get a clue negative people. Don't need you

It’s the “beaten wife” syndrome. She’s been beaten so **** much, that she believe she’s the reason her husband smacks her around so much. Tweeting recruits… telling them not to come here because we lost a fuccin game (albeit a game we actually had won), is really some “***** made” ***, hoe *** ****. To those guys that did that, I have two questions. How do you consider yourself a fan? More importantly, how do you still consider yourself a man? ****, it’s ok to be mad at how we lost, but tweeting kids and saying **** like that, while calling yourself a Cane fan, is across the line.

If’s are irrelevant. Sometimes you play like **** and are lucky to squeak out a win. We had that opportunity but chose to do the only thing that could lose the game and it cost these kids a win.

That’s not negative, it’s actually being positive. You played like ****, but all good. Get the W and move on.

And don’t talk about supporting this team to me. I’ve been a season ticket holder for over 20 years and can count on one hand the number of games I’ve missed in that time.
 
I’m very, VERY interested to see how the team responds from this. Come out and show a dominant performance against UNC and you go from “national embarrassment” to “right back in the hunt” in a matter of one week. If the culture truly has changed, like I believe it has, they will come out Saturday night and play angry/ticked off. When are these kids going to learn this isn’t the 80’s anymore where you come out and sleepwalk to a 70 point win? FSU almost lost to B.C., Ohio State was losing to Maryland until they woke up late, USC almost lost to Arizona, etc. The bottom line is if you don’t show up each week ready to annihilate your opponent you can, and will, get beat.Then we have other issue though of which TVD will show up. He had been playing lights out so far but looked like hot garbage against GT.

Nah man those are players. That’s natural emotional stress of the game. ESPN made a national spectacle of me the same way 20 years ago on the sidelines . Crying like a baby. Showed me 10x with waterfalls.

You’ve got it twisted if you think it’s all good. It hurts all of us here or we wouldn’t care enough to be on this site. It’s disgusting the football negligence that happened Saturday night.

I also know you don’t cut off your nose to spite your face. Our fans aren’t smart when it comes to recruiting .. most of them just don’t get it.

I don’t see the purpose of the 1000’s of fire Mario/Don’t come here tweets it just hurts recruiting and he’s not going anywhere this early.

What I’m saying in the OP is we have a great football team. The season isn’t over with 1 loss that shouldn’t have happened.

It’s unacceptable in any way you break it down called out the coaches and went as far as calling out players in the OP which I’d like to take back.

Agree on all, but the bolded is what it 100% comes down to. After all we've been through as a fan base, if you haven't learned how to handle adversity by now, I question how any of them can be a fully functioning adult.

#1. “We’ll probably go 7-5 and lose a game that we shouldn’t”

#2. “I’m angry because we shouldnt have lost to GTech” (see end of #1)

#3. “I have 0 confidence we beat UNC, FSU, Clem, and UL.” (puts us at 7-5, see beginning of #1)

I absolutely hate losing, but it’s happening how most of us thought it would happen. Just play hard, win the bowl game, stack talent on both lines, and get good QB out of the portal. Follow those steps and make a run next year. This wasn’t going to be ”The Year” anyways. Next year should tell us the story of where we are.
…..Oh yea, and don’t get blown out!

Under normal circumstances this would all be true. However, we have a confirmed slow adult in charge of the program.
