What I saw was a team the clearly outplayed the other. Our guys played a tough game against a good pass D w/ ****** weather (again) and should’ve won the game.

Mario/Dawson but I can’t leave out Don/TVD/TC/Kam lost it on crucial blunders at the exact time. 99.9% chance those series of events don’t happen. It’s once in a football lifetime.

So the reality is our team was good enough to win. We haven’t fielded a team this good in a lonnnnnnnng time. Still good enough to beat anyone on the schedule.

This team isn’t going 7-5. I also never believed this team was going undefeated.

GT is probably better than you believed. A 4 game sample size never will tell the story of a team for a season. They can be 9-3 or 3-9 we don’t know. Our Canes can still go 11-1 or 4-8.

I'm not texting recruits. Nor am I projecting doom & gloom. I have, however, just witnessed what conservatively makes the short list of the greatest coaching blunders in the history of sports. And, yes, Mario's deflecting comments at the post-game presser are disturbing. More concerning are that they may be indicative of a well-insulated leader who underlings fear in terms of raising the issue of accountability. NO ONE on the sideline or in support staff dare approach Mario with the idea of TAKING A KNEE?

In Mario's specific case, it's actually twice in a football lifetime. But I do get what you're saying.

Right here is where you failed yourself. Gt is not better than we think. Mario, TVD, and even Kam made critical mistakes. Maybe our four game sample size led us to believe Miami is better than they are? Elite teams don't lose games like last night.

They showed resiliency last night by coming back when the stadium was boo’ing them , to put themselves in position to win if not for Mario. Go watch the first quarter of A&M, all the FANS on this board was shredding the team as “quitters and here we go again” unril they bowed up after giving A&M ten points. Some one in ten million **** happened last night all started by a boneheaded decision. They never quit.

I’ve seen resilience from this team A&M down early. GT was up on us last night with a ton of momentum and we put that **** to bed ( in the moment lol) and went back up to close the game and crapped ourselves.

Players did their job unfortunately Mario extended the game. Unfair mentally to the guys knowing it’s a kneel down and over situation. Sure the D was shocked to have to go back on the field.

We were all thinking it before it happened.. this is normally a game we would’ve lost. Have to laugh not to cry.

As far as I'm concerned, Miami is 5-0. They gave that game away on that one play. Kneel and it's not a loss. Definitely bad decision. But it's not like they got blown out. I'm not even worried....UNC will be tough but totally winnable.

I mean FIU Middle Tennessee St are up there but we were favored by over 20 points, 4-0 everything is looking up, Ga Tech got rolled by a brutal Bowling Green team, and we played like **** (mainly the offense) and still should have won. This is one of those games you’ll never forget about and surely the country will never forget about it either.
