I said 7-5 prior to the season because Mario isn’t a game day coach and our staff is new along with the roster.

On the brighter side, TVD may want to sit down and think about playing another year at Miami before getting drafted in the late rounds. This could get Miami from 7-5/8-4 to 11-1 and a CFP game in 2024.

GT is probably better than you believed. A 4 game sample size never will tell the story of a team for a season. They can be 9-3 or 3-9 we don’t know. Our Canes can still go 11-1 or 4-8.

Some people (w a ******) like to predict the future and get emotional off of what they BELIEVE is going to happen and pretend it’s an absolute. Get your testosterone checked for real.

We beat UNC and everyone who is off the bandwagon this week will be leading the charge the next. If you know football you can see what’s going on. We’re pretty **** good.

Y’all know nobody is getting fired either y’all are just being emo. Some of you had secret national championship dreams this year I know.

1. You don't get millions of $$$ a year to make bad decisions like this;
2. There is (Zero Chance we beat North Carolina, FSU, or Clemson), our best record will be either another 5-7 or 6-6 record
3. GT lost last week to Bowling Green and got beat bad by Ole Miss, or yeah, the team that has a better coach Lane Kiffin.
4. Good enough to win agree, but the coaches have to put the players in position to win games, not lose them
5. Fire Cristobal this was a bad chocie from Day 1. Just look at the overall record.

People saying oh man if we beat Unc then we will forget about this game. Dude no one will forget about this ever. This was the worst loss I’ve experienced in 23 years as a fan and there have been some bad losses. Mario lost the locker room, Unc might stick it in their asses and smile.

I’m honestly done. I’m not wasting my time with this program. Get me to basketball season. They pulled me back in when our offense was humming and started out 4-0. But I can’t waste my Saturdays anymore watching this program embarrass themselves. There’s 4 more losses on the schedule incoming.

Yep, I’ll focus on finishing up my masters degree and getting this bread. I’ll always be a Cane but this one whew….this one took a lot out of me
 
You nailed it op. This team won a game they usually fold up in the fetal position and suck their thumb. The coaches stole it from them. On a night where everything could go wrong it did and they still battled back and ground a victory only to have it snatched from them by incompetent coaching. The defense was not ready to be back out there at the end. They couldn’t believe what just happened and never had time to get themselves sorted out. Now we see how they respond. We were 5-7 last year. We all were hoping for a nice bump this year to about 8 wins. That’s still very obtainable. Too many fans thought we could be TCU this year and go on a magical run to the playoffs. We are still building. This one stings and there will be more painful losses this year. Just keep learning and getting better.

Cool story bro, some just get tired of incompetence. It makes me think of TVD leveraging the school for more money after spring ball even though he’d done nothing in his college career to warrant it. It’s actually hysterical when you really think about it.

I’ll say this though, for me it’s gonna take a **** of a lot more than beating UNC to make up for this.

I will say he is getting roasted on national media this morning. Do not turn on Sirius Xm college football channel bc Luginbiil and the callers have been all over Mario

My bigger concern is that every DC will copy what Tech did to TVD and just play zone coverage all game and force him to throw into windows, which he did not do well. He was late on his throws all night long. The first INT doesn’t happen if he throws as soon as the defender turned his head. Instead he hopped twice giving the safety time to recover.
 
I smacked myself around a little this morning, but now I’m back.

I’m looking forward to a couple of good games over the next 2 weeks.

I saw this as well. GTs pass defense was already legit and the new d coordinator was ready.

I also believe multiple times during the games TVD and Haynes King lost confidence. Both of them threw ducks that slipped out of their hands skipping balls in the ground. Felt like neither one could get control or in a groove.
