Just checking out the UL Scout board(yeah, I'm bored) and literally none of them are giving us a chance. Yeah we got smashed in the bowl game but we no longer have 1 read sack/throw away Morris and have both Duke and Dorsett back. They lost a Top 3 QB and won't have their no 1 wr or rb. Both qbs have about the same experience in collegiate games as far as I'm aware. Also, they're installing a 3-4 and this is the first game they'll be using it.

Am I missing something?

They are in for a rude awakening.

Duke Johnson absolutely makes this offense a different animal.

It is easy to dismiss a team starting a true freshman on the road though.
 
That 3-4 they are switching to is going to be a mess, for that reason alone were going to win. Switching to a 3-4 can be a bumpy process
 
Again, is there any doubt in anyone's mind that our coach and program appear to be disrespected, and we are going to beat the ever living schitt out of Miami tomorrow?

I don't know if you would even call this bulletin board material by osmosis at this point, but I will say this much, Miami is going to be the poor team to play us in the opener and receive our wrath.

I'll make a prediction. Walking in Kaaya will better than Snickers, who sucked last year! Having Duke, Dorsett, Yearby & Waters back & healthy will make a huge difference. Losing Gaines, TC, Highsmith & Rodgers will be a huge help. Them losing Bridgewater, Parker & Dyer will be a huge help. Them having a Dorito comparable of Grantham will be a huge help. Lots to be positive about here!

No one is picking the Canes. Herbie, Corso, the a$$holes on CFB daily, Tim Brando, Cowherd all picked the Cards. The only one I saw pick the Canes was Stone Cold Steve Austin which is pretty awesome.

All of them said the same thing, Miami is starting a true freshman QB on the road against a team that b fvcked us 6 months ago and now had Booby P. Pretty sound logic. I just want this game to start already. Canes 35- Lv - 31

You of all people know whenever those ******** pick against us we win! Remember UF & last I check Bobby P has never kit the world on fire anywhere his 1st season (Arky?). They have all the same problems we have but we have better talent. Both DC's suck *** so that's a draw.
 
If FSU loses, this is our league for the taking. The ACC needs a definitive leader and if they won't do it, we will.

Yeah they are definitely feeling themselves right now. Can't wait for tomorrow.

In their defense...the fans who live in our reality quickly came in an check those spewing that BS as being delusional. All teams has those fans I suppose.

Why wouldn't they be ****y? They just beat the tar out of us, upgraded their staff, and have owned us in every sport we've played them in since 2006. We also have a freshman QB in their house.

You are only as good as your last game. They whipped our *** and until we show something different on the field that is what everyone remembers.
 
1. we have a brand new QB .. don't matter how he was in HS or how well he did in practice that is a HUGE question how he will play in this game.. he may be the best QB that ever played but the first game like htis can mess up anyone


2. we have been focusing so much on the QB and completely neglected that we are not so great at D... not just talent .. just the overall soft approach we have had in the past few years.


so its ok for them to feel like they have this game wrapped up... but the game is played on the field... just watch the Arkansas vs Auburn game.. the first 2 quarters it looked like Arkansas was 100x better and they may acutally win this game. 3-4 quarter... it looked like a high school team took over and Auburn crushed them.

IIRC they are switching to a 3-4 not from a 4-3 but from a 3-3-5. Don't know if this is as drastic a change, e.g., in the size of the LBs required, etc. hey lucane any thoughts/analysis?
