Y’all need to read this!

Lol, you gotta play for yourself. Ok schemes bad, but you gon let UNC run you over on national TV? C’mon bro. Aren’t they trying to make the league?
No one was pulling there hair out during these past two games than me man, but it still a team game, where coaching is most important. How did Boise State get so good all those years? TCU? How did Dabo turn around Clemson? At some point you need good coaches. Yeah we have some *** linebackers and DB's, our OL blows, and for the most part our WR's can't catch a nerf ball.

Yes. South Florida kids aren't hard workers. They're all spoiled, soft, entitled, brats.
That must be why so many of them make the NFL.

Man GTFOH with this dumb ****. I'm tired of this narrative on here.
When you dumb MF'ers gonna realize that (1) we're not getting the right SOFLO kids and (2) our leadership is trash.

We've had 20 years of garbage football at Miami. During that time, we've had 5 different head coaches, countless coordinators, a few athletic directors and two different university presidents.

The ONLY constant during that entire period is South Florida kids.... one after the other.... who don't live up to the undeserved hype.

You want to blame coaching - that's part of it, but it defies belief that FIVE coaches in a row have been that terrible, and god knows how many coordinators. Maybe some of the blame is with the one thing that we haven't changed - the kinds of kids we recruit.

****, we had Mark Richt here during that period - and he's one of the winningest coaches in college football history. But if you listen to folks on here, he somehow forgot how to coach when he came to Miami.

The "blame everything on the coaches and nothing on the kids" excuse is getting old.

Yet every other coach in the country is excelling with South Florida kids.

It’s not that they are *** or untalented completely. They are just soft. I’ve watched the canes fold when hit in the mouth every **** year for the last decade. You can’t teach heart. And it’s not the whole team, I’d say it’s about half who don’t got it.

Which we don't get. That's the entire point of this that you seem to miss every single time it's discussed. We get the 7 on 7 all stars that weight 135 pounds & do 1000 jukes at the LOS while the CB jams them into the center of the earth. We get the leftovers that the big boys don't want. Again, our best player from South Florida this year was MIKE HARLEY!!!!!!
SO WHO'S FVCKIN FAULT IS THAT?!

Y'all MF'ers blaming A WHOLE FVCKIN REGION because our coaches get the wrong kids.

Are they, though? That's the line people say, but is it fact?

They might cherry pick one or two, but as far as I'm aware, there's been no national champion in the last decade or so with a roster made of mostly South Florida kids.

Alabama's kids are mostly from Alabama and Georgia. Ohio States are from the Midwest, and Clemson's are from Georgia and all over the south. There's only a couple South Florida kids sprinkled in their rosters.

I've been saying this for some time now, south florida is not what it once was.

The cream of the crop are good, but those days of having the 3 stars be as good as everyone elses 4 stars is laughable. These dumbass would celebrate a sack when they're down 40 points in the 3rd quarter. They just got beaten by a team full of 3rd rate texas players essentially.
Really?

How many stars was Zay Flowers?
Rashad Weaver?
Tutu Atwell?
Nik Bonitto?
Jaden Davis?

What?! Lmao

ALABAMA'S WHOLE STARTING SECONDARY IS FROM SOUTH FLORIDA.

Bro, just go to bed.

Yup and they get the truly elite ones from down here.

Where kids are from has nothing to do with it. It has everything to do with prioritizing 7 on 7 over actual production with pads on. I know schools in South Florida don’t always produce great QBs and throw it 30 times a game, but that’s not an excuse for constantly missing this bad on wide recievers

What about the rest of their team?

Funny.... it seems in the 80's to the early 2000's we couldn't miss on any recruit or coach - plug any coach in to the system, sign any diamond in the rough, and everything seemed to work out. Now, if we're to believe you, we've hired five bad head coaches and countless bad position coaches in an unbroken string of ****.

That defies all odds.

Maybe open your mind up to the possibility that whatever magic the kids in South Florida had in the 80's...whatever it was that was producing kids with that dog in them back in the day is gone and no more.

Cultures change, Miami as a city has certainly changed, and it's not a stretch to think that high school football in Miami has also changed.

The news in this thread that everyone is missing is D$ and macho are admitting that some SFL kids just don’t have it...

Never thought I would see it ...

I want y'all to consider something for me...and then revisit your logic.

THE BEST COACHES IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL ALL SET UP SHOP DOWN HERE AND MAKE SOFLO A PRIORITY.

But we have message board fans who think these same kids are overrated.

Who knows more about football talent...Nick Saban or YOU motherfvckers?

South Florida. Every good recruit worth a **** from west palm down to Florida city is cherry picked by Bama Clem and other bag schools. The ones we have didn’t make the cut.

This area, especially when it comes to football and other sports, at the youth level, is poisoned. At a young age, in these most recent generations, the kids are spoon fed all the compliments and praise in the world.

Place is full of bootlickers, the kids are full of themselves. They think they’re the **** before they’ve done ****. They aren’t go getters or workers, they are soft. That’s why we watch them act like they won the Super Bowl celebrating a sack down 30 to UNC. Makes me want to vomit.

And it’s not even their fault, it’s on coaches all over Dade County from Pop Warner on up.
I’ve played with these dudes man, I know how this **** operates. If you only knew the half of what goes on behind the scenes. Most of em shouldn’t be NCAA eligible or graduate from high school. You don’t have to earn **** down here anymore, coaches always got the hook up for em.

You can’t sit here and tell me it’s not Pope’s fault he hasn’t added any mass to his frame since the day he stepped foot on campus. You have to want this ****, they don’t want it.

I’d rather take a kid tearing up high school ball in nowhere Oklahoma who is a dawg than one of these Prima Donna 7 v 7 “Superstars”. But nah, Manny and the gang want to act like they have SoFlo on lockdown when we’ve been fed the scraps, bunch of suckers.

Meanwhile, we get to watch half the team get folded over by the OK State’s and UNC’s, and fight tooth and nail against Duke, VT, UVA, GTech, Wake, Pitt’s for the better part of the last 20 years.

Yall need to wake up, these kids aren’t what they used to be, the game passed us by, we are still playing catch up.

And all the soft *** gimmicky chain, rings, uniform, “swagger” **** Manny created has only made things worse and continued the poisonous cycle. Boosted their egos, pump their heads up, make them think they’re all gangster. ***** a joke. Go play ball.

Had to get this off my chest because it’s been brewing for years. I don’t even post on here like that, but I’m always reading. The awakening is coming soon, game 1, next year. Everyone will wake up then.
Trust me Clemson, Bama and OSU ain’t placating this kids. When those teams come calling the kids respond. They know where the bread is buttered. We have to play games with this kids because they can.

Over 90% of Alabama's roster is from Georgia, Alabama, and places other than South Florida. Nick Saban cherry-picks 5-stars from EVERYWHERE, not just from here.

Our best players are from Texas and Las Vegas.

Yeah and they are the elite South Florida kids at Bama. Our best players this season were from Cali and Nevada LMAO. Stop playing bro. Where’s Deriq King from?
Without em we are a 3-4 win team with all these “elite” SoFla kids. You’re embarrassing yourself. Tecory Couch is a dawg, can’t think of anyone else from SoFla.
Corey Flagg our best LB, where’s he from? Dawg 3-star from Texas.
This **** getting laughable. All our best players from out of state.

My god.
How do you people function?
