Xavier Restrepo Talks UA Camp and Junior Day

Right.
Edelman is an elite athlete.
He's not just some technician, he's one of the best athletes at the slot position. People talk about him like he's a scrub that over achieves.

Agreed. I hate the Pats, but the narrative with him is just wrong. Here are Edleman's Pro Day results (he wasn't invited to the combine):

5'10-3/8"
195 lbs.
4.52s 40-yd
3.92s 20-yd shuttle
6.62s 3-cone drill
36.5" vertical jump
10'3" broad jump
14 reps @ 225 lbs.

So basically legit/elite numbers for a slot guy. Thank you.

Love this kid. Hope we don’t slow play him

He is a football player; offense or defense. He might become an AA or might be a solid backup and special teams star. But kids like him play on championship CFB teams. Absolutely a take. Hopefully Diaz learned from Amato the Bobby Bowden recruiting philosophy. Get 75% of your recruits in early, a combination of obvious 5 stars and 3 stars that coaches have a conviction about and want to go to the school. Then work real hard the remaining 25% difference makers that are truly up in the air. Maybe Restropo is a little small. So was Berrios and so are Thomas and Hartley. And the fact he can play DB, aka tackle makes him valuable on special teams.

I keep reading his last name as Reposado.

Bryan Robinson
Marcus Fleming
Xaver Restrepo
Kentron Poitier
Dominic Mammarelli

That is a great group of pass catchers for 2020. If that was our haul, I'm strutting like Vince McMahon down the aisle on signing day.

Wow, I had no idea he tested that well. Very impressive. Though with his build, I'd think he could do more than 14 reps of 225 lb.

Add Britt and I’m strutting, but I want Restrepo on defense.

Guys like this win you championships. You guys are enamored with the sparq ratings & stars. Give me a few football players.
When you say this i think of Hunter Renfrow dude is from a small town down the road in SC an hes a legend there lol

If this kid was black and had the exact same abilities, numbers, attitude, and accomplishments everyone in here would be screaming that we’re fcking up by not pursuing him harder. That’s real talk, so if you don’t like it, then crawl back into your fake world.

Get this kid on board. He’s a bad *** football player.

Remember that is Edelman as a rookie. Given how hard he works he may have improved some of those times a little more and those 225 reps probably got up to 20+.

He and Mcdougal is an interesting decision in the slot for UM...Assuming that they'd both want to come (And I don't know they do). Not an easy call at all.

And obv you don't take either over Fleming or if Jones-Bell was interested...Those guys can ply slot or outside.
