The first name that of a Jesuit saint - Xavier. The last is that of the last prophet, as per the Quran. I grew up in Toledo, and am Lebanese. I never new a Christian kid with the last name of the founder of Islam, or a Muslim kid named after a Roman Catholic saint. It’s a little ironic to me.

I didn’t realize Toledo had a lot of Lebanese people. I thought it was just part of the script in MASH. One of my good friends in high school is Lebanese and my grandmother’s doctor in miami for years was as well… both Christians though the high school friend’s father was actually a Lebanese *** like Safra. His mother was a Christian from Europe so he wasn’t Maronite. Not a ton of Lebanese people back then in miami. I figured you were Maronite.

When I go to my wife’s country (Dominican Republic), the Lebanese influence is there. They came around the turn of the 19th century. The families own some of the biggest banks still. You see kibbe everywhere and most Dominicans don’t realize the origin.

I trust Mario & Co but man some of these DL projections they are making are kinda scary. Smith that DE from Alabama looks like he is a couple cheeseburgers away from 200lbs, that DL from Virginia who I think committed to VT looked like he was 6’1 230, and this kid.

I get that Heathermen’s scheme doesn’t require 320lb+ DL but sigining kids that would normally take 2-3 years in the weight room to be physically ready if ever is alarming. Especially considering the Cyrus Moss, Jayden Wayne, Elias Rudolph, Collins A and that Columbus HS DT.

We have had some monster eval hits but there have been a ton of non contributors. Along the OL as well.

Toledo has some real deal Lebanese restaurants. Believe the people who own Chateau Massaya have a spot out there.
