All that's great if we're talking about any other coach in the nation not named Mario. That **** usually works at first, and then when they turn up the heat late, all is forgiven. At least, that's how it goes for programs not named Miami.
1. Legacy kid is offered by other schools other than the legacy program
2. Legacy kid falls in love with several programs, talks glowingly, takes visits, progresses towards a commitment.
3. Legacy school offers
4. Prospect insinuates he's disrespected by not being offered sooner, makes lukewarm comments about legacy school, continues talking up other schools.
5. Prospect takes an unofficial to several schools, including now the legacy school
6. Prospect says legacy school "made up some ground" and "communication is more frequent", but is adamant he's very interested in other schools.
7. Prospect quietly schedules OV to legacy school
8. Prospect commits to legacy school
There's your playbook.
This after i found out his dad was alumni i tempered my enthusiasm...they gonna get him.....

History tells us exactly this will happen. We shall see.
we have been rewriting recruiting history the last couple years....
Nole writers are at war with Norvell and the Athletic department! They are frustrated with the losing and ineptitude and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were secretly steering recruits away from Norvell at this point. They went from cover up to straight war and enjoy interviews and articles from Tallyand vicinity recruits who are looking elsewhere?!Don't trust that nole blowjobstein
absolutely…some people prefer a college town and atmosphere….others want an international metropolis like LA or Miami. Mark Matthews is a prime example, who had more money in Miami and top tier development in Miami, but chose College Station. While I may agree with most of what you said, by that same argument, Miami is also not for everyone.
Tough to sell or even keep subs when the team your covering is *** and there’s no hope in the near future lolNole writers are at war with Norvell and the Athletic department! Soooo is he purposely omitting notre dame"I would say it's pretty much the same as a month ago," Edwards said. "Miami's definitely the leader right now, and then there are some very close options behind that -- minuscule difference."
"It's definitely escalating since the last time we talked," he said of his recruitment. "A bunch of more schools have been reaching out to me. Some schools that I don't have offers from, like Auburn, have called me a bunch of times, along with a couple of other schools. But recruiting's been going great. Just going to go through the process and then narrow it down, probably during the season -- midseason. I'll narrow it down to my top ten and then make a decision about this time next year."
A few schools in particular have made the biggest moves up his favorites list as of late.
"I would say Georgia. Georgia's made a really significant increase on my list," he said. "So Georgia, Indiana's up there too, Florida, Ohio State's up there, Penn State. A lot of options, but I'm going to narrow it down."
The Bulldogs have expressed that Edwards is major priority for them in the 2028 class.
"They've just been talking to me, calling me every day -- kind of like what Miami's doing," he said of Georgia. "They're just showing me that I'm their top guy, that they're really interested in me, and I'm excited to get up for a game this fall."
He knows one game he will definitely be attending, and it features two of his favorites.
"I'm going to Ohio State at Indiana," he said. "That's a for sure one. For sure going to Miami, Georgia, I'm going to try to get up to Florida State and Ohio State -- those are the definites."
The relationships he builds with coaches at these schools will be paramount when it comes time for him to make a decision.
"I'd say the relationships. If I have a good relationship with a coach, I'll probably look at that one more," he said. "Some schools have offered, but their coaches haven't been showing me a bunch or haven't been talking to me. So, relationships with the coaches, how they treat me, and also the school -- the academic part, the environment, the people. That's what I'm looking for."
The lowest of low hanging lazy fruit is blanket assumption he gonna go to Dad's alma mater
That’s when they do their own thing, I feel like this is not one of those players that gets forced to go where his dad went. He will be his own man imoThe lowest of low hanging lazy fruit is blanket assumption he gonna go to Dad's alma mater
Hope so we need RBs next year if we don’t take two this yeari think we close this kid ... especially with a big year
then there are some very close options behind that -- minuscule difference
would be stunned if he signed anywhere besides ND. I also see as a clear ploy to not let ND off the hook in terms of recruiting him hard & prioritizing him.
he’s talking about auburn recruiting him hard without even offering him while listing a bunch of other schools not named ND like IU. He knows who his dad is.
UGA who offered him 45 days ago is already right behind us along with others; kid is not coming here lol.
