Wyche is back

This is all part of Coleys master plan. Now we got a new commit this weekend. LMAO.

3 Star player and we are acting like we just signed Jadeveon Clowney. Man how our expectations have sunk.

Yes, but this coaching staff seems **** bent on running a 3-4, two gap scheme. Without a true nose tackle (Wyche), this defense will be even worse than last year and will rival 2012.

That's not true. If you read any of the recent quotes by Valenine, he said when he came to the school the coaches showed him film of the defense and they emphasized that they are a multiple defense, using both 3-4 and 4-3. As far as I remember, I saw a lot of both this past year. I do remember seeing a lot of 4-3.

Where are the Golden haters?

Still here. No idea if Wyche will be good or not, but it is because of Al's inability to recruit elite high school defensive tackles that we are forced to search the waiver wire and JUCO's for stopgaps at the position every year.

Oh stop it already. The greatest coach in UM history according to many was Jimmy Johnson. Name me all the elite HS DTs he recruited. (You're on the clock).

why couldn't cory johnson have the same attitude

Great question

And that is why a kid like Cory Johnson would worry me...with him, it's all about "me," and he sounds like the type of kid not willing to make the sacrifice. Now, Wyche sounds like a kid who is. Except for the 2001 team, most of our best teams didn't have as much talent as people think, they just had better character kids who worked harder and wouldn't quit.

Believe he recruited Russell Maryland no?

Al has recruited 1 defensive tackle (Pierre) who has been able to break in the rotation, that doesn't concern you at all?

The fact of the matter is Golden has to do better bringing in DT talent. Hopefully Wyche is as good as we need him to be otherwise next year's defense is gonna be brutal.

Not that it has anything to do with Wyche, but we got Maryland over some pretty flimsy competition if my history is right.

This puts us back in good shape at DT, Great shape would be adding Gaillard to our group of DT's

Bunch of you guys were lighting torches and getting ready to storm city hall because you were convinced the staff didn't know about the rule in question. You just assumed incompetence on the staff's part. In fact, it appears the kid just got impatient and said "F if" until cooler heads prevailed.

Truth is it's all conjecture at this point and we have no choice but to wait and see how things pan out.

Just because things don't go our way on day or one one recruit doesn't mean Golden is a loser or all the other things you guys dump on him. If anything this Wyche things proves; in recruiting you are up one day, down another and then back up again. Or not...

NONE of you, or me, know all the facts on TV. You don't.

Momentum and finish strong!

The coaches want to run a 3-4 two gap scheme. Fat Al has said as much. That is their goal; they want to run that garbage as their base defense. If you see the 4-3 its usually on third down passing situations. Further, the hybrid thing just adds to confusion. Pick a **** formula and stick to it. The personnel he has now is much better suited for 4-3, one gap. Let the **** DT's attack, as opposed to feeling on the oline's t*ts and looking to control two gaps, no homo.
