I think we are jumping to conclusions here. All we have is a post from Wyche. We don't know if he has talked to the coaches. Since he signed an LOI, he must get permission to leave. If he hasn't talked to the coaches, they can probably lay out a compelling scenario for him to realize that staying is in his best interest.

I am dumbfounded by Golden's incompetency at recruiting DT's.

Even if he signed it it doesn't matter because he couldn't get in. There was an impossibility of performance of the contract, and, therefore, it is null and void.
 
Even if he didn't sign the LOI, where the **** could he even enroll at right now? He is gonna have to wait until next semester to get into any school at this point unless he found a school that has a really late cut off date for enrollment this semester.
 
Hasnt he already signed his LOI? So unless we release him how is he going to go somewhre else? the only thing the ACC rule (supid BTW) meant was he couldnt be an EE, he would have to come for the Fall like most other recruits in this class. **** Summer even.

I dont think it matters if he signed the LOI if he cant enroll because of that rule. I believe that excuses performance.

I mean that Miami was still expecting him in May and I'm not sure this was an ACC thing. MY guess is that he is opening things up, but I think Miami will continue to recruit. I am looking into it
