The disrespect is off the charts.
Hey Adidas, how about doing us a solid and putting up a few more of these up around the city.
Probably the Sawgrass Expressway facing west toward the wildlife.Where is ours?
FIFYThat's the adidas "Euro-****" design for their pants!
Here we are playing for the Natty and it’s clear some of you guys are more interested protecting a brand than anything else.
Adidas or Nike, I really don’t give a **** either way, some of you guys approach this like it’s religious zealotry.
They’re both just companies that don’t actually give a **** about the University Of Miami, other than how they can increase their sales and improve their brand.
If either one of the companies could do that by stomping on this U, that’s exactly what they would do. Let’s give it a ******* break. Religious crazies have nothing on you guys.
(FWIW I don't take adidas putting IU / Mendoza adverts in S. Fl personally, at all. just biz)Adidas is all in on Mendoza. This is a great marketing ploy for them; the kid from Miami, growing up near the school he grew up loving, & now he’s back home as a Heisman winner.
For Adidas, this is not a shot at us vs. promoting their NIL guy who just beat Adidas’ biggest sneaker rival’s poster child Univ. in NikeU. I paid attention to how each victory’s IG was handled for us vs. IU:
For us, it was a simple: “It’s a Fiesta”, but for IU it was “Duck, Duck, Whooo?” That was a big moment for the brand, no shade to us. I’ve long shared w this board that Adidas’ will focus on one darling at a time. They do not have the marketing infrastructure to promote others, for w/e reason.
I gave the example of Ward last yr, how it was all He1sman promotions, UNTIL Hunter became the favorite. Not only did Adidas shift its marketing campaign to Travis, but they gave him his own line, and Cam became an after thought.
Ffwd to 2025-26; when Mendoza became the heavy favorite, Adidas’ marketing team was not just behind Mendoza, but IU as a whole (a long, long, LONG time partner of Adidas). So their marketing is going to be focused on their pride & joy “for this season.”
The fact we still have fans caping 4 this is quite humorous to me despite the tangible evidence. Regardless, it’s a win-win for Adidas this yr, but for marketing purposes, I can tell u who they prefer. But, I’ll allow a few members continue to say “but, they r paying more.”
I find it crazy that a couple of well made men are fanboying over Messi, but here we are.Ah-*******-men
If anyone on this board wants to put 7+ figures a year into the program like the Mas brothers, you too can have a voice on Miami’s apparel partner.
Otherwise this thread is nothing but toxic complaining.

I can’t believe they wouldn’t know that being with Adidas eliminates Nike branded athletes from transferring to us (especially big in bball, but also in football). And that being with Adidas means we get equipment that is not custom fit to OUR athletes or uses the latest fabric tech in uniforms - have you all seen how many times Toney has to adjust his pants every game? Nike has much better fabric and its cut to the player iirc.
Not to mention fan merchandise is inconsistent in sizing and variety.
