Agree. Was really disappointing because it was obvious going into the bye week our offense had structural problems, and we needed to be creative to try to hide them. We were much more creative in the run game against FSU than we were against UL.
All the offensive penalties, turnovers, and poor field position (especially in the first half) didn't help matters. We had no rhythm on offense, and we didn't run many plays.
We had the ball with a chance to tie or win the game at the end, after turning the ball over 3 times (to that point), not being able to run the ball at all, and losing badly on special teams. I don't think all hope is lost. We need to make adjustments to scheme, personnel, and play-calling on offense that we should have already made though, otherwise we likely lose another couple of regular season games.
