WR Somourian Wingo commits to Miami

So to be clear, don't give opinions unless they are positive and similar to everyone else's. Discouraging others from giving opinions while offering none of your own is great for the commitment page.

******* idiotic porst.

It's a commitment thread. You've had months to express your hateful opinions on other threads, and you've got years to express your hateful opinions on other threads.

Is it really so hard for people to shut the **** up for the first page of a commitment thread?

Maudes just need to start thread-banning the toxic posters from all commitment threads. It's not that complicated. Congratulate these players for joining the Miami family and then you can go and start a criticism thread somewhere else.

Don’t we need as many good players as possible at every position, with the historical understanding that a few will wash out for one reason or another?

In Spafford, Evans and Wingo we have (3) 4 star receivers. History tells us 1-2 will excel and 1-2 will not. But if we only have 1-2 overall, or only 1-2 with that talent level, we have to hit on each player, and that is highly unlikely unless you are Butch Davis.

So rather than be upset about why Wingo isn’t perfect, doesn’t it make more sense to say that the talent he adds to the WR room means that we have dramatically increased the likelihood that 1-2 receivers from the class of ‘26 will be impactful at UM. AND, NO ONE definitively knows who will succeed and who will not. It’s not as easy as the most talented person wins, because there are so many examples of when this did not occur.

Especially when 2 of them have body types that we need more of on this roster.

I agree acquire as much talent as possible and let it play out

Not the greatest competition. They played AHHS in playoffs and Nease in regular season. Columbia ( Lake City ) was way below their normal talent . One of their more mediocre teams. They also played Mandarin but they’d lost their qb T Jones at that point. They had a Fr qb filling in. But there was also a lot of bad mixed in. Their district was awful this past season.
folks complain about comp ... but they made it to the final four? first clip is housing it against heritage ...

If we had missed on him and he went to UF the posts would be flying wildly.
