Trader in the 1st and Lyle in the 2nd would do wonders for our recruiting.
Yeah, but who would our WR coach be? Because I know who it won't be.

It’s been awhile since his name has come up … i thought the ship had sailed.
It was those exact posts about past recruiting classes which had me thinking about this as well. You are exactly right. DMoney series on our past draft classes is an excellent example that we have no clue who will end up being impactful and an NFL player (we need both in the worst way).
stack as much 4 star talent that we can find and let the ones who have the talent and work ethic rise to the top.
Read the comments. I’m not doing the work for you lol.Who are you arguing against?
Sadly thats **** near true when theres a 5 star attached to the WRs name.Impossible. Recruits only choose Miami if we pay the most, and they always choose the other option if the NIL is close to even.
Facts. that 5 star label works wondersSame guys in here hating were the same ones saying hykeem williams was elite.
That Calvin Russell is elite.
And that Haslewood was the best wr ever when we didn’t get him.
There were hella posters on here saying losing Russell was unacceptable as if ppl were supposed to lose their job behind not landing that jit lolI prefer a tough, physical guy over a skinny guy who really wants to play basketball. Might be wrong.
I wasn’t amongst them. There were hella posters on here saying losing Russell was unacceptable as if ppl were supposed to lose their job behind not landing that jit lol
Yeah, this schedule stuff isn’t the end all. Can the kid play?I believe they had bolles on their schedule too...smaller school but several kids with big time offers
Mainly the same people that would be complaining if he had committed to a different team today...IMOAre people really complaining about this pickup?
Solid get and now allows the staff to go after 1 last big fish.
Football recruiting, like life, is a box of chocolates. Ya never know what you’re going to get. Will be unpopular here, but I don’t believe in overpaying out of desperation for a backup option.
I hope he balls out senior year and develops into a freak, but he has high bust potential from the film and comp I watch. I expect him to drop in the rankings as well. He’s high ceiling, low floor type.
At the same time, good to stop the bleeding and all hands on deck for Cooper. That’s someone that’s worth the overpay imo.
All that being said, welcome to the U young man and prove many of us wrong.
Agreed. Russell is going to effing Syracuse. If we wanted him he would be committed.my take is hes not a back up. I dont think we ever really wanted Russell but played the game. its not like Cooper who we want.
I think we wanted for Russell and then moved on. Keys is a take regardless and we will pay big for him.
