WR position officially wide open

What happens when sat 2 deep is released and it’s still Wiggins pope and Harley because “they had a great week of practice”.
Baby steps lol. You know how difficult it was to get Manny insert the word “or”? It will take a game or two to have the young guys take over with no “or”

This should be a moot point because unless Lashlee is a major ******* Jordan & Mallory will be on the field for every snap.

In fact, our WRs are so poor that our new base operation should be 22 personnel.

QB King
RB Harris
RB Knighton
WR Pope
TE Mallory
TE Jordan

Chaney, Smith, Redding, Restrepo, Hodges off the bench.

Think of the possibilities:

Knighton getting matched up against an LB like Cook vs Bama last week.
Mallory lined up at TE2, HB, WR on a given play.
2x2 with Jordan & Pope on one side / Mallory & Knighton on the other.

Get with the program, Asslee.

If you guys wanna see what the guys who can’t outplay the same guys we ***** about in practice then maybe you guys should try pulling a Bill..sneak a source on greentree

I immediately thought the same thing. This so great news as long as it's truly an open competition...and I'll believe it's open when the freshmen are playing 50+% of the time.

Yep. For a depth chart to be released this early tells me he's giving 3/6/8 another chance this week to step up their game and probably reduce their reps with the 1s. If they do well in practice, I think manny will trot out there 3/6/8 against uva.

The depth chart also list Jarrid Williams starting at RT WITH John Campbell OR Zion on the left. Campbell was solid the first few weeks but has struggled as of late albeit against some really good splines. I have liked what I've seen from Zion this year.

you knew this was happening just based on the snap counts. The same thing is happening with the linebackers. Brooks and Flaggs snap counts have increased and McCloud and Jennings have decreased. I believe that by Vtech we have new starters at WR and LB

What I have seen in back to back games is Lashlee identifying a new toy, focusing on using it right away, failing, and then back to same ol thing in passing game.

2 weeks ago he decided Payton on WR screen was going to revolutionize offensive football. Tried it 2x with monster lead blockers like Harley and went 0-2 and then forgot Payton was on the team.

Last week it was Rooster on the swing pass, fail/fail and then back to same ol thing.

We need to see a diverse passing game with X, Smith, and redding. Roll the vets in and out but make sure King doesn't default to wiggins deep, pope WR screen and Harley intermediate.

I'm going to give Campbell a pass the last two weeks - Clemson and Pitt are both 4-deep at defensive end and their top DEs are going to get drafted in the first 2-3 rounds. He held his own.

Wiggins reminds me of Lance Leggett. Athletically gifted, but no fight for the ball or ability to high point.

Need to see if one of the young guys can step up.
Who would have thunk he pope and Harley would be the weak links to our team wow!! Man I remember that recruitment period!
