You need competition and depth and you never can predict high school players. You can have the next Mali or the next Chance Robinson.

It’s beyond annoying. We haven’t had a true #1 the last two seasons. Had the best offense in the country last year and are in the CFB semis this year.

Fun fact - Toney has more receiving yards than Oregon and Indiana’s leading receivers

VERY hard for undersized slot to be a true #1.. There is a reason alot dont go high in draft.. A true #1 is a certain body type.. Malachi is #1 in production on our team and in Dawson scheme a slot is always gonna EAT but we havent had a #1 WR at miami in what feels like decade +.. Mind boggling stuff

Talk about it there’s only maybe 4 real number ones in college football next season Jeremiah smith cam Coleman and wingo. Henry the freshman at osu has that potential. It’s basically the elite tight end in the portal talk we keep having on the board it’s a waste

they keep saying #1 and dont realize the slot and Mali Toney is #1 in Dawsons offense its annoying as ****
