InsideTheU learned that the Canes have also been doing some homework on a Florida commit as the two in-state rivals prepare to clash in Dade County this weekend. A name of interest that has emerged onto the radar is Tuskegee (Ala.) Booker T. Washington Top247 wide receiver Marquez Daniel. The 6-foot-5, 195-pounder, who is considered the No. 133 overall player and No. 14 wide receiver this cycle, has been committed to the Gators since June, picking Florida over in-state Auburn.

Daniel and Miami have had discussions to this point, but it's unclear how deep the conversations have progressed, though there is believed to be mutual interest. Miami offered Daniel back in April 2024.
 
Do we know how much our board differs from main rankings? Like would Mathews, Burroughs or Henry be at/near the top of our board all things considered equal? Or do we have other wrs ranked higher than them?
