There's something straight Old School Cool about this ... Brings back memories as a kid listening to games on a transistor radio under the bed covers at night. Any of y'all owned one of these classics?

I'm too conditioned to watching games on TV or in person, but if you go the radio route maybe you could check in at mid-season and let us know how it's going?I know this is NOT exactly mid-season.. but the game was on ABC (Channel 7) here in Chicago so I got to watch the first game on the big screen TV.

I know this is not exactly mid-season already, but here in Chicago the game was on regular TV (ABC - Channel 7) so I got to watch the game on the big screen TV...

... with that being said, after halftime I turned off the audio on the TV because of the all the Irish slurping and fired up the radio broadcast. Vast improvement over the abc announcers if even for a half of football.

Bethune will be my first full game broadcast. Let's see how that goes for me...

Edit: I forgot to add that I had about a 30 second delay between what I saw on the TV to what the radio was broadcasting... so plays happened before I heard/saw them... kinda threw my brain off along with all the beer...
