Just for one example, he promised Cantwell would commit, and he stuck with it through the Georgia crystal balls. He seemed to know.

@1murhurricane suggested two weeks. @DMoney said anytime between now and end of July in his podcast today. NIL details making the timing harder to predict.

What position groups do you think end up the strength of this class, and what ends up the "weakness" (all relative of course!).

I'm hoping the strength of this class are DT by far. Then WR and S just due to need. I suppose RB will be a strength given we're going to get Cooper and Mallory. I'd guess right now the biggest question is probably at LB and Safety for how the class ends up. WR I feel probably has the biggest range of outcomes from truly elite if we like land Keys/Russell/Spafford or something....

Of course I think Oline will be a strength given Cantwell, but from a rating perspective I'm not sure it will be unless we end up flipping Pepe by the end of the year or something if USC collapses (I hope so they got a lot of guys I hope we can flip like Lowe last year). But like Oline we have Cantwell, but even right now the rest of the guys are like 87 rated on average + Kolojay/Pickett. A Oline class of Cantwell, Congdon, Ervin, Sparks, Woodrow, Kolojay, and Pickett is an average rating of just 89.3. Which I don't particularly care, I think that's still a great class for what we need.

As of now I think we will have an above expectation class at every position but WR and LB. With the demand of 5 star WRs I would portal personally but the 15 mil bump kicking in probably guarantees us one big 5 star WR a year moving forward. This is JMO. I'm connected to players, agents and other coaching staffs. This isn't a reflection in the building as a disclaimer @cway313 said it best awhile back I am not a hurricane insider. I get my info from players directly and every once in awhile they change their mind lmao and I get some **** on a message board...

Technically @1murhurricane stated it was already leaning that way a week before he started this thread…. This was an unexpected decision… another one….
