When will we reach bottom. Bad season, bad coaching, bad offensive line, bad special teams, bad QB's, player suspensions and now recruits dropping off like flies. What happened to our Program? Why has this happened so quickly? What the heck is going on. Not much to celebrate!

Last season was smoke and mirrors. We got lucky in a early games last season, team then began playing with some confidence but eventually luck ran out and we were exposed for what we were, a team with a good defense but an antiquated offense that was really easy to stop. The team last year was not good, it was marginally better then this year.

If not for Manny's defense this team would be the worse than any team under Shannon or Golden. Richt is over the hill and does not have the energy or fortitude to be a head coach at this level any longer. Richt used to be an average coach and GA, now he is just a low energy and uninspiring version of himself... We have Richt in retirement..

I don't believe we have seen the bottom yet, next year is going to much worse... defense is going to take a big step back, our recruiting is going to continue to suffer. Plus Richt is not getting and OC or QB coach, so the offense will be as bad or worse next year. Unfortunately, there are some dark days ahead... until Richt is gone, which won't be for another 2 years or so due to his extension and subsequent buyout. This admin made a huge mistake by extending him, though not surprisingly, they have a long track record of making foolish decisions. My suggestion, if you don't want to continually be disappointed, don't bother following recruiting, it's a disaster. Pick up a hobby, and just wait for Richt to retire or be fired in a few years. Then we will need to pray to the football gods, that Blake James lucks out and makes a competent hire. We'll then need to rebuild the entire roster due to our poor recruiting over the last few years of Richts reign. Unfortunately, at minimum I see another 5+ years of crappy Canes football. All thanks to Blake James and the BOT.

Starting a capable QB and sticking with him will be worth at least a couple games compared to the merry-go-round approach we put up with this year. Next year will be better IMO based off that alone.
 
A top 50 starting quarterback and punter would help. I don’t think either is asking for too much.

We have had a ton of critical injuries on the O-side. Really set up back.

I think it will have a minimal effect. Did you see our passing numbers against Pitt last week? Have you seen Perry's play this year, our OL play and our receivers? That crap is not going to get it done. This is Richt's third year running this O and it has gotten worse with each year. I have no confidence Richt, his son and Brown can or will improve this offense. This is more than just a personnel issue.
 
The city of Miami and the area around it loves a winner but hates a loser. This year the Hurricanes are losers.

It is a very fickle area. You can ***** all you want but it will ALWAYS be that way. So you HAVE to win the games you are supposed to, and compete like **** in the games you aren't.

I guess I'm just banking on Perry improving or Richt having the balls to let Jarren start.

Poor AD hires by BOT. Which has led to poor head coach hires by the AD.
