Yet Oregon a similar program to UM is taking the same approach as us.Somehow IU didn’t have a problem scheduling visits.
It's great timing for a team that doesn't recruit great and doesnt have developed talent waiting to play.

Hook line and sinkerWere we baited in this thread
Let me help you with this:I'm done making this argument with the casuals in our fanbase that can't seem to grasp this - IU has to replace the majority of their two deep with other one and done mercenaries. They have a completely different approach to roster construction than we do.
I don't know, maybe you turned down an offer already, but Mario needs you on staff immediately. You know mother ******* everything, man. Don't know why you don't have a career in a front office or administration somewhere. Your talent is being wasted on CIS message board. Not swinging hard and fast in the portal is a mistake. You need to get guys signed ASAP. The more visits guys take the more you gotta pay.
The dude swears that just because stuff isn’t leaking that we aren’t aggressively after anyone.I don't know, maybe you turned down an offer already, but Mario needs you on staff immediately. If Oregon and Miami end up winning their games, will anyone be like "Well, IU got some portal visits lined up"? Yeah, and the distraction possibly cost them a game. I prefer the approach us and Oregon are taking here.Yet Oregon a similar program to UM is taking the same approach as us.

It’s not as complicated as you wanna think it is. And not getting a single commitment publicly when even other playoff teams have like 5+ each isn’t great. Missing on our top qb and not even getting a visit isn’t great. Not getting (apparently choosing) a top WR isn’t great. Choosing to completely ignore TE is imo horrible. Allowing the guy who others think may be our top target (perch) to visit one of the biggest bag schools around isn’t good. Maybe it doesn’t end with them getting him, but it’s more likely to end with us having to pay more if that’s the case.I don't know, maybe you turned down an offer already, but Mario needs you on staff immediately. ESPN said that Texas Tech is totally disregarding the salary cap/moneyball aspect when it comes to the portal. They will outbid any school for a player they really want.
I'd be surprised if a few aren't announced after the Ole Miss game, really think a few are done and just waiting be announced until after the game, then visits can take place next week when team back home, hopefully getting ready for Monday gameIf Oregon and Miami end up winning their games, will anyone be like "Well, IU got some portal visits lined up"? Where tf was the TTU bag game pre NIL?
Has anyone visited Texas Tech and left without signing?bingo, some of their folks believe they wanted Koi & Coleman on campus at the same time.
The other thing people are choosing to ignore is Miami and recruit a lot better than IU and Ole Miss. IU just signed the second full class of Cig’s recruits. So only one class is even on campus. He’s still in the roster building stage. If Oregon and Miami end up winning their games, will anyone be like "Well, IU got some portal visits lined up"? Technically, Soresby.Has anyone visited Texas Tech and left without signing?
