That kid isn't a leader, looks like he can barely stomach making eye contact with people. Don't care about his talent if he's a complete *****.

On Koi, I have a close friend who is close to the gopher program. His take is….
Koi was overused last year. They had him on D, ST & O and played too many snaps
That hurt his game and ended up having a bit of a down year vs his freshman year
He wanted to get paid more, but PJ said NO. They tried to negotiate, that’s why he came out late
That pushed him to test the market
Contact with Oregon, Ohio State & TT
His strong belief is that he want to play for or DC
Mostly posturing and positioning now

There’s been contact with the U
The other teams are in addition
He led me to believe we are positioned for a Bafo (best and final offer) based on schedules and timing

Net net is he though we’d land him as long as we paid him close to what he wants
The kid comes from a tiny town in Minn. All new to him. Has a lot of teams trying to get him to listen

BTW, his hometown is Esko (pop 2K) nearest Big city is Duluth (Pop 80K) You can see why all this attention could be overwhelming

I’m shocked that PJ did not offer him more “fleck bucks”

For those of you that don’t know, PJ Fleck had a system similar to a kindergarten classroom where if you did things right you could get “fleck bucks”
And buy certain things with them

Fleck is weird ASF and I don’t blame Koi for wanting to leave

The fleck bucks could be used to avoid team discipline and other minor things like failing a drug test, etc.
