Would you take Tom Brady on the Dolphins?

Fortunately, Fitzpatrick is under contract and I believe $4M is guaranteed. I don’t see them jettisoning him and eating the cap space for a 43 year old Brady.

Very good tread OP...got me thinking...I would say YES if we didn't have Fitz (assuming he stays) to be the QB until our 2020 guy is ready.
I also think what other posters do, and that he wants another run at a Super Bowl, and Miami is nowhere near ready.

It would be blasphemous for Brady to go to a team in his former employers division. It would be like one of our 5-Star running backs going to the Florida Gators.

Oh wait....

Beggars can’t be choosers. No, he’s not a beggar, but the sun is setting on his career, he’s nowhere near what he was just a year or two ago.

I would...I had this thought about a month ago while I was riding a Pineapple Express high, so maybe it is a literal “pipe dream”...

Anyway, I can see a lot of reasons it could happen. Flores and the Pollack QB coach and the other NE connections. Flores seems more a coach and less a corch than other NE assistants. Team seems on an upswing.

Hes got targets to throw to in DeVante, the CSU kid, and Gesicki...not to mention a few others. Team has a zillion dollars in cap space and draft picks that they can put into OL and a running back, D-fens too.

Add in the fact he can stick it to NE twice a year as motivation, prove he can win without BB...it’s a great match. Not to mention his wife’s a supermodel.

Anyway, that’s my thoughts on it. I’d rather have him than Fitz. Draft Tua and let him sit behind the master for a few years.
