Would You Take Him as OL Coach?

Blast from the past. Wasn't this the guy that while he was at BC interviewed for another job and was basically fired by at his AD for interviewing with another school?

Yeah but I think he had interviewed with a pro team.

That is this guy (pro team). He is the last guy to have success at BC too.

BC's AD warned him several times to quit flirting with other jobs. Told him if he did it one more time he'd can him. Well, old Jag interviewed with the Jets, and Gene DeFillipo fired his ***. Funny thing is he didn't get the job.

Then, I think Raheem Morris hired him as OC for the Bucs, but he couldn't get the plays in quickly enough, so Morris had to demote him during the preseason. Been a precipitous fall for him, but he was a good football coach.

He's working at Georgia State these days as their OC.
Before GSU, had a cup of coffee at Ave Maria University in sw Florida (Naples?).
He did good at GSU, pretty good offense that got better as season progressed, stomping a
pretty good Georgia Southern program.

Why would he come here to be our OL coach?

Have no idea if Richt would even remotely be interested. I'd assume an OC at Georgia State would leave to come to Miami under Richt though. Just throwing an actual "name" out there that was once a rising star and has coached/lived in Florida and may have crossed paths with Richt in the state of Georgia.

He'd leave GSU in a millisecond to come to UM.

Can never have enough ex head coaches on a staff. What a far cry compared to what we had with Alf - he went dumpster diving for his position coaches.

Dudes career took a major bad turn , there was a time he was the " it" up and comer

Was a really hot name for a minute before he tried to advance too quick. Has a long resume and probably could be had but I wonder if there are "personality issues"?

I thought we were getting mirabal from marshall?

Alex has not been contacted by anyone at UM. Whatever happened to Jagodinzski? He did a great job at BC and then bam never heard from him again.

He was told not to interview for the Jets head coaching job by the AD but did it anyway and was fired the next day. Then he got the OC job at Tampa Bay and they canned him too.
