Would Manny get fired at 3-9?

Dana Holgerson is hardly a "very good coach". Most of the WVU fanbase was happy he left.

He was an annoying coach for them who never could do quite enough to get fired, but still never made anybody happy.

WVU fans are inbred delusional products of incest. They got spoiled by Rich Rodriguez and think recruits actually want to play in Hillbilly ****.

For those who don't already know, GT is worse than FIU.

There is no reason to expect to win another game this season.

It's called normal distribution. I realize that's not exactly a strength around here. That's how you had so many geniuses proclaiming 10-2 or 11-1.

I can almost guarantee some of the 10-2 types have now switched to 3-9.

That is SAM caliber of thought.

Manny is not getting fired for losing a string of close games. That is preposterous. Golden was gone after 58-0. Nothing at all would change for Manny unless it included some type of major scandal that was embarrassing to the university. That's how the USC water polo coach was ousted last spring despite numerous national championships.

If he gets loses to FSU and FIU. I dont know if Diaz is gone but the whole coaching staff will be completely new by spring.

Nope.

Fifth head coach in 14 years at Miami.

Can't keep turning over coaches on an annual basis and find any level of success. A head coach is going to get three years, at least, to turn it around.

Sends a pretty sh1tty message to future potential hires, too—don't get it done year one and we'll send you and your family packing one year from the day y'all showed up.

7-6 last year. 7-9 dating back to Pitt game in 2017. 35-3 bowl loss to Wisconsin. Brand new offensive staff. Young o-line. No proven quarterback. Depleted secondary.

What did people really expect year one? Lost some very winnable games with a new staff and a team that has has struggled to close out games since long before Diaz showed up.
What did people really expect year one? At minimum, to not lose to the worst GT team of all time.

Blake James, Julio Frenk (UM President) and Hillarie Bass (BOT Chair) will sit idle and watch the football program burn.

Terrible, incompetent University leadership.

It is on and off the field as well. UM continues to plunge in the annual US News & World Report College Rankings.

Where is the 7.1 number coming from? Assuming 4 for the buyout and then 3.1 for his annual salary? JFC if we are paying this nincompoop 3.1 a year for this product. I’d love to know his annual salary with Temple just to see how badly BJ got neutered in negotiations.

Correct bro; it’s reported we paid Temple $4 to buy out Manny from his contract and we offered Manny a deal worth $3.1/yr. So we just spent $7.1 to be 3-4 including 0-2 after bye weeks.

if this were an actual respected worthy of the job coach, he would be given the benefit of the doubt.

manny Diaz however is a guy who didn’t even deserve the DC job his dad got him here, let alone the HC gig at UM. his resume is so pathetic and paltry that when his team performs This poorly he should be shown the door. They tried the experiment bc of the chain and who his dad is and his ethnicity, and the results are reflective of his resume. Move on. Diaz isn’t respected in the coaching world anyway, so nobody would take offense to us firing a guy that everyone knows is a joke.

Please God just make this ****** nightmare end...

What did we do to deserve this???

Boston had The Curse of the Bambino. Miami has the Curse of the Orange Bowl. It only took 100 years for Boston to break the curse. So we just have to wait until 2105. Miami will be back. BACK TO THE FUTURE
