I try not to get frustrated when that stuff happens cause I know how difficult it is for a DB...
But at some point I have to think that we're not even being taught to look back. We haven't done it all season.

I have been told repeatedly not to worry about Mike Rumph being an absolute abortion as a recruiter because he's a GREAT coach.
We can do better at so many spots on this coaching roster. We are operating at a major disadvantage with guys like Brown/Richt at OC, Richt Jr, Rumph, Hartley as STC, etc. Kul better be all he's cracked up to be as a technician, too, given the direction our talent is heading at DT. For all the hype, Clemson and Wisconsin just raped his line full of NFL players.
Folks want to be optimistic but we were two Langham miracles from being a 5 loss team, point blank. These guys just aren't very good.

Miami should have a top 5 group of DBs EVERY SINGLE YEAR. That's the benefit of recruiting in Dade County. You can't let all the great recruits leave because you're a "great coach" and then have your guys out there looking lost.
Not really worried about this issue anyway. Those throws were extremely hard to defend. I'm more worried about how we play zone.

Michael Jackson has been the only DB to look back

Yea I know. If I was getting held like they were the entire game, I would’ve filed charges for sexual assault.

Not sure if you're paying attention or not but you better get used to it. That's part of life for us. We can make excuses or get better.
We don't seem to do a good job jamming receivers at the line when playing man.
none of them turned and found the ball Saturday.I disagree. Our corners are poorly coached. You have to turn and find the ball and they failed on all 4 TD passes. Backshoulder, Fades, Post, Rub. If the db would have bothered to find the ball in either of those they either break up or intercept. Bad technique in coverage every play really. Hence why we don’t get off the field.Back shoulder throws are incredibly difficult to defend. We were in a great position all night in man-to-man coverage and they made every single play on their back shoulder throws. Sometimes there's just nothing you can do on those.
You can disagree all you want. Turning your head to find the football is something taught since pee wee football. The techniques are miles better than they were with Paul Williams and yea Coach Rumph is teaching them turn their head...his CB’s were turning their head at AH when he was there, Trajan turns his head all the time, Mike Jackson turns his head, and so does Jaquan...Rumph can’t stop time and run on to the field to turn their head for them.

The one where a pedestrian QB threw four touchdowns to slow receivers and our defensive backs ran with them stride for stride yet kept their eyes glued to their man.none of them turned and found the ball Saturday.I disagree. I watched them attack Delaney, Jaquan, Redwine, Smith, Bamdy, and Jackson. The first 4 where by far the worst. But all our db’s lacked technique our there. Don’t get me started on the leg diving they call aThe one where a pedestrian QB threw four touchdowns to slow receivers and our defensive backs ran with them stride for stride yet kept their eyes glued to their man.none of them turned and found the ball Saturday. You can disagree all you want. So you watched them avoid Mike Jackson and you watched them attack one side of the field the entire game....and specifically Dee Delaney. Let me guess revisionist history kind of guy?
