This is what happens when your former head coach decides to change from a pro-style offense to a spread, but, he doesn't replace the offensive assistants he had in place with ones that have experience running that type of scheme. Don't blame Art. He doesn't have the slightest idea how to coach in a spread offense, which requires a different type of technique from O-lineman than in the pro-style system that he has coached in his entire career. The same goes for Coley. I guess when Golden was hearing all the complaints from the fans and former players about the system he was running, and the demands that he change it, he didn't realize that nobody was referring to the offensive system.
