Worst ever position coach at Miami

Jon Richt and it isn’t even close. He had no credentials. Quarterbacks coach is also a relatively important and high profile spot. You don’t hire your incompetent son to coach the most important position on the team.

The guy hasn’t been hired since as far as I know. Most (all?) of that list at least was employable after Miami.

Jon Richt would have been #1 in a landslide, except I’ve always had a suspicion that the de facto QB coach was Mark Richt.

Manny Diaz and Larry Coker and Shannon and Golden.....Diaz may be the worst and this is a tough one

Edit: oh wait it's position coaches.

I thought the OL’s improved throughout the season. The floor was low. I don’t know that you can blame the OL coach for what he inherited.

it has to be John Richt.Did he recruit Perry and Williams? Can not blame him for inherited Rosier.

all time worst? need to think about that, but here's a few off the top of my head:

DB's - Paul Williams (Best was Dave Campo)

QB's - Jon Richt (Best was Marc Trestman)

LB's - Marc D'Onofrio (Best was Tommy Tubberville)

DL - Clint Hurtt (Best was Harold Allen)

Clint Hurtt was an excellent coach, and an even better recruiter.

No matter how much of a douche he was with the NCAA.

Jon Richt was the Frank Diaz from Last Chance U s3 of this team...he would have to be the worst, but he didn't actually do anything but film NKosi Perry d!cking down Baxa's girl, so I have no idea how to rate him. But he definitely didn't earn a single paycheck here.

What I saw on the OL last year has earned Butch Barry this award though. No one knew what they were doing. Every single offensive lineman is worse for ever being in his presence. He should never be hired by a football team again. Gross negligence at his job.

Wasn’t P. Mix a position coach (in addition to his OC duties)? He was pretty crappy.

Don't know why Barry is on that list.he really didn't have much to work with.oline was bad before he got here.

Anyone other than Jon Richt is laughable.

Dude had zero experience, did nothing with the room he had and left a permanent, horrible impact on the QB room. He missed on his primary targets and didn't develop anything from anyone.

Hated the hire when it happened and hated it more by the time he was gone.

Someone help me out with Shannon’s old staff. He went dumpster diving for some dudes

How many championships did Kehoe win?? Get his name off the list.

Kehoe was garbage. Good lord. Do you forget what his lines were like by 2005? I was furious when he was brought back, as was every other Cane fan with a brain.

He’s probably not as bad as the other guys I mentioned. But I put him on there to **** off his slurpers.
