Did Richt's agent allow him to sign off on the "you must resign because Miami loses x games out of y" clause in his legally binding contract?

ok...now...

Does anyone actually know if there is a performance based clause in his contract governing any year?

Kool didn’t recruit Miami needs coaches who will recruit and develop guys. He just developed guys and Simpson has done a solid job with the d line so far.
 
I would fire everyone except Diaz. New Linebacker, CB, safety and Dline coaches. New special teams coach as well. Hire an OC that is going to light up the scoreboard and recruits will come. Hire coaches that come from big time programs, they know how to drop bags and how it's done.
 
Searles needs to go. Unless lil richt has an opportunity elsewhere mark is not firing his kid. That means brown needs to go and bring in a real OC. Then I'm moving on from rumph, Banda, or patke for a dedicated ST coach.

As much as I agree with that and would love to do that Richt is like tainted meat now. Too much wading through the process for all that to work. Have to get a new coach who brings some staff with him for some cohesion.

soldinger would come back and fix special teams

this is partially true from multiple people i have spoken too. not that he will be forced to resign but told changes have to be made. hes getting paid 4 million and has no NCAA probe. its time to win.
 
Art Kehoe is better than Stacy Searles.

And we've fired his *** twice.

Fire Searles, and bring in a top Offensive Line coach. The oline has sucked for the past 10 years, and continues to be the worst performing unit

Getting an offensive coordinator goes without saying. We dont neccesarrily need a spread guru (pro is still fine), but we need someone that can get our recievers the ball.

Jon Richt has no business being a QB coach

Improve the ST play as well.

OC - Lane Kiffin
OL - Whoever it is, pay top dollar. Enough is enough.
QB Coach - Ken Dorsey
ST Coach - John Lovett

Those changes need to be made asap.

Spin it how you like. We let an elite DL coach go and hired a HS coach. I’m glad it’s worked out so far, but the point was that we aren’t spending top dollar for our coaches and that money continues to be an issue.

Based off KoolAid not staying??....if we had kept him, by now we wouldn't have a D line!! We already short handed there, and KoolAid doesn't recruit!! He did us a solid by removing himself from the picture!!,.. Now if someone can send the MEMO to lil jon, Stacy Sheryl, and whoever is responsible (actually responsible) for the **** show of special teams, and we can begging moving forward again!!

I agree Miami needs to open up their pockets for quality assistants. Can’t have guys who have never coached college football before come to a Power 5 school who was one of the elite schools over a decade ago. They have the money now spend it.
 
pressure is on when you have butch coaching well at FIU. Richt has been a HC for 18 years, what is he figuring out?

btw, butch haters can talk crap but when his kid wanted to coach, he made a GA so he can get a job elsewhere, he didnt put him on a salary.
