Withholding Money is the next step

If Al Golden is still here in the spring, that should be the next step. No donations, no ticket purchases, etc. If you feel differently more power to you, I won't begrudge anyone on how they think they should spend their money, but if you want to send a message to the admins, then your pocket book and their emptying coffers is the best way to do it. Maybe we can make them realize that keeping Golden would be more costly than getting rid of him.

Replied: Fire Golden and I'll start donating again.
 
I think the big money people are the one that will make an effect. That said, barring some catastrophic finish, i fully expect golden will be here next year, the hope is that they make him get rid of donof and golden's system defensively.

this is is almost right.

first step is to convey in firm but logically laid out and not abusive language to Blake and others in athletic department and Donna right at the end of the year or days after the next epic disaster, that you will be withholding donation and not renewing your tickets. No cursing, sanity based displeasure instead. They need to hear from real people willing to state name, donor level etc.

then act on it if necessary. Don't wait til spring, but don't just start cursing and inflaming. Talk about ROI. APATHY, LACK OF PAYING ATTENTION TO THE OBVIOUS THAT ARE NOT CLOUD RELATED.
 
I didn't donate this year and I haven't purchased tickets to any games. It will be the same next year if Golden is still here.

I have to agree with weoenfsu here. No offense but i tend to favor toward the not giving a **** what you expect category as well. Oh, and you can shove that Golden ticket up your ***.

the worst thing that can happen to our program...i've been angry! i've been hurt! I've felt lost! every **** week I hurt knowing that the product on the field is not indicative of this school's proud brand of football. I'm fighting that feeling of indifference, which I've felt for the dolphins for years

The MIL is watching our 3 yr old this weekend. We'll still have our 3 month-old, but it'll be quitter and easier this weekend. I have to get blood drawn at my annual physical on Saturday, will probably cut the grass, take a nap, and play some Destiny. All those things give me far more enjoyment than watching this team play.

better than the randy train, at the very least we have some decent talent on this squad, the same could not be said for randy's team.
 
You all want to fight with Business men, then you have to think like a business man. Fans have more power than they think because all they have to do is stop buying and the rich guys perk up.

The problem is it is too late for this year. Most people already bought season tickets. The cash has been collected. You showing up isn't as affected because they have your money. Now, if you stop renewing, then they KNOW/ no revenue stream and empty seats.

You're stretching it sayiing Golden has been better than anyone.

Shannon beat Oklahoma. Golden wouldn't even know how to spell out the scenario where he even HANGS with a top 10 team...much less beat one.

And don't get me wrong, Shannon was horrible. I'm simply saying Golden is every bit as bad and there's a good chance he's worse.
 
Al has taken away one of the only things that makes me happy anymore. We won't be renewing any of our 8 season tickets until hes gone. I guess I'll have more free time next fall to work on my golf game.

I stop financially supporting this program 2 years ago when I saw the blight-- and I recall some pledging support regardless of results just prior to Louisville opener--

when I replied I'd sooner take the ice bucket challenge than give a dime to this administration/program given how poorly it was being run, I was roundly chastised.

I wonder if they kept their pledge?

At least ice bucket challenge is a worthy cause.

I'm sure all those asshats still refer to us as 'not real fans'. Although I haven't seen them post on here for some time.

/eyeing specific ***-guzzling Golden slurpers.
