Maybe now we can really get a foothold in southern cal. They recently had a biggie DT decommit in Smallwood. Getting into Serra would be nice also. That squad is loaded. Tucker and Ihenacho seem to have pretty good Miami interest

The only player that we have offered that is committed to USC is Austin Maloata(http://247sports.com/Player/Austin-Maloata-32017).

EDIT: We also offered Derik Calhoun who decommitted on Sunday.

Bryce Dixon was considering USC heavily. http://247sports.com/Player/Bryce-Dixon-22130

Dwight Williams(http://247sports.com/Player/Dwight-Williams-15563), Lance McDowdell(http://247sports.com/Player/Lance-McDowdell-34954), and Olajuwon Tucker(http://247sports.com/Player/Olajuwon-Tucker-31739) are all considering USC.... And of course Leonard Fournette(http://247sports.com/Player/Leonard-Fournette-14147)

all he knows is pain

Want

From what I understand, Lane being fired actually helped with recruits.

Dwight Williams from out that way would be a pleasant surprise. Somebody get in Kaaya's ear and tell to start recruiting some of those guys.

Could help with Dalvin Cook though I think he put that to bed (from does that matter?)

We don't see USC on the trail much lately it seems.

He's a UF lock if they want him but it doesn't seem like they like his size

Haven't heard that but if so it sucks. I think he would be a beast at the LB position for us.

On 24/7 its basically a lock that he will go if UF offers or accepts it but I read that they want a bigger lb and he's kinda like the size of Grace so UM wouldnt look down on him

Actually quite correct. Recruits were already decommitting from USC BEFORE Kiffen got the boot. Word was out. Kids didn't like playing for him.
And there is a reason they handed the interim job to Orgeron. The guy has a major reputation as a monster recruiter. He's not a great coach (was head Coach at Ole Miss and went 10-25 before getting fired). But as a recruiter, he really talks a good game and kids seem to love him. He wasn't named interim coach to win games but, rather, to hold the recruiting efforts together.

Even with that though, it does loosen things up a bit.
