With Smith and Bethel departures...If we expand DB board

Probably 5-6 instead of 4-5

Obviously we have the extreme long shot in Ricks we love now at IMG, and probably a lesser long shot with Kendall Dennis we'd take in a heartbeat. If there was any gray area on Brian George is offer I'd have to think he's definitely in if he wants now, but I'm not sure he isn't leaning SEC. So let's say we land Balom, and don't get A. Williams or Tennison (Who knows with them, but Williams is a long shot too, and Tennison appears to be fading)...If we take one more locally who would you like to see locally?

Royal, STA (already "offered")
Delancey, NW (no offer)
Pough, Macarthur (doesn't appear "offer" was ever legit, as of now I treat Royal's the same way)
Harrell, Chamgnat (obv would need to flip, who knows, I believe his UM offer was LEGIT, like Horrell I think he outgrows corner, that's jmo)

appear to be next in line

K. Washington (chance may be better to stay on board, I personally think he's too stiff for safety but I'm not the one calling the shots... has whole senior year to take the next step)

Any other names you locals really like or have any input if UM is in touch? (Jeshon Ingraham, Deidrick Stanley, Michael Antoine, Robert Hanna, Corey Thornton are some of the names we've discussed on this board this spring)

I dont think anything changes with this class because we are already limited on who we take.
 
I for one was not sad to see Smiff go. I was not impressed with his hs tape out of HS, and obviously he did not develope into a Miami type DB.

Yes he did light some people up in HS and he had the build. So do 500 other DB'S in the country. Dude is to slow and he ain't no lb at this level. He will wind up at Illinois and be an average player at best.

Our DB's are fast and talented we got a good group. I am not worried.
 
It’s basically wide open for the dudes in next years class. These sofla kids have shown the ability to play well and play a lot. If Keontra and Couch ball this year it will be good for recruiting.
 
We can still find DBs yall..A good season helps we got C Williams late. I think we get another db this year. Grab 3 in 2021.
