With Butch Davis now being a regular on Sirius/XM Channel 91

I agree - they are a shell of what they use to be ... and that probably makes them even scarier

And to answer your question - May 2015 NCAA cites North Carolina for lack of Institutional Control ..... you kinda walked into that one

I don't think you comprehend what a "shell" is.
This nincompoop cites one obvious case that had to be tended to to keep up appearances in two years and acts like he just hit a walk off home run. He just proved my point, yet he's flipping his bat and going into a slow homosexual trot around the bases.

Butch David is great on Sirius, but he's nowhere near as good as Newweasel. Newweasel is a star when it comes to radio. And Neweasel has been on there 2 years and is still broadcasting not coaching.

It was funny hearing UM fans call in the other day begging Butch David to come back to UM. He was clearly uncomfortable talking about it and even said "I have a policy that I don't talk about jobs that aren't open and Al Golden is doing a very good job there and they should have a very good season."

Unfortunate that he felt some backlash for his comments a few months ago when he was campaigning for the UM job in the press. Now he feels like he has to take the high road and lie.

Neuheisel- better musician than corch. A LOT better. Maybe he'd be willing to start a Springsteen cover band Golden & D'onofrio.

We gotta be da dumbest school in history if we don't snag this guy after this season. U couldn't ask for a better hire especially with these fkin bozos.

Do you think that the NCAA ended up giving Miami softer sanctions bc of how they handled the investigation ie - the NCAA broke the law?
- You have to answer yes and if so, they are itching to hit us again.

Butch was a great recruiter however you cant keep "poking the bear (NCAA)"

The ncaa is a shell of what it used to be, and it'll likely be completely neutered soon as the Power 5 take total control of college football and regulating themselves.

The embarrassment of their corrupt fake investigation of UM pretty much spelled the end of that aspect of the ncaa. How many teams have they gone after hard since our case?

You got that right Franchise. They wanted to kill us and shot themselves in the balls instead. We were supposed to be the third jewel in they triple crown - OSU, PSU and THE U. The biggest thing since has been half game suspensions.

Two Things:

1) UNC's accrediting body gave them a probational slap on the hand, thus giving Emmert a lot of cover:

Academic fraud nets North Carolina Tar Heels 1-year probation, accreditation agency says

2) The NCAA outsources its football post-season and as an organization, makes it's big $$$ (including Marky Mark and his Funky Bunch's salaries) during March Madness. Not having "basketball royalty" in the tournament is bad for business.

In the end, Emmert slaps them on the wrist and if Frenk has a set of balls AND realizes the monetary value of CFB to schools with winning programs, there is a chance Butch's boat comes into Biscayne Bay.

SMU is almost as dumb for not hiring him. Under the right conditions he would kill in a place like that.
